Notes: I actually called every chemistry major and pharmacist I ever knew checking out the pseudo-science behind this gag. They pretty much all assured me that you could shut down a simple baking soda and vinegar engine by adding an anti-gas medication (such as "Beano"). I never went so far as to try it ... but I like to think they wouldn't lie to me just because it was an amazingly STUPID question.
Just so you know, I had plans for the giant steam-powered robot monkey to return in a later episode.
