God of Darkness
Dirakar
In the dark of the night beyond twilight's last gleam, stands a monsterous figure, his black scales like plates of armor covering his demonic body, from head to foot, to tail. He is the great lord of darkness, war and strife. The God of Darkness, Dirakar. His power is the dark arts of magic, such as Fire, Ice and Thunder, and of course, Darkness. His influence is most seen in the Zelaseth Ravine, where Dirakar Castle stands. Many think that the dark god lives there still, as they have seen a cloaked figure in and near the castle. That... will not be revealed. Near the city of Miralee stands the the Tower of Venkel'diir, known to the people of aurame as the Dark Tower. This tower was constructed as a offering to Dirakar, who now uses it to as a item of power and influence on the world.
Just southeast of the ravine lies Chrinal, one of the five great cities of the City-State, Azamir. Chirnal is close enough to Zelaseth that the dark magic from the ravine flows into the city, giving it a bad reputation. Chirnal, due to this, worships the dark god, at a black pyramid at the center of the city. The High Priest, Daedalus and his sister High Priestess Naj'Ta serve him well in keeping the temple, though Daedalus seemes to be less affiliated with Dirakar, than Naj'Ta. Dirakar has taken a liking to Naj'Ta's apprentice however and has big plans for the young boy.
