“What do you mean you fired her?”
“She wasn’t keeping up, Draco. I had to let her go,” Narcissa stated calmly.
Draco glanced over at the sink, it’s basin piled high with dirty dishes, then back at his mother.
“Go on. Get started.” She began to walk out of the kitchen.
“Figures. Fire the house-elf and I get stuck doing all the work. Who does she think I am, Potter?” He mumbled under his breath.
“What was that?” Narcissa looked at him expectantly.
“Nothing.”
“Good.” She began to leave the room but turned back. “Oh and Draco...”
“Yeah?”
“No magic.”
