SailorMoon
Sailor Suited Soldier of Love and Justice

Tsukini kawatte, oshiokiyo!
The heroine of the story. Usagi Tsukino is walking--well, running--to school one morning when, suddenly and inexplicably, a stuffed talking cat falls on her head. This cat, Luna by name, grants her the power to transform into the pretty guardian of justice Sailormoon. The 14 year old is reluctant to fight during her first battle (against the possessed mother of her best friend, no less), but finds herself easing into the role as her duty becomes clear: find her fellow Senshi and the Princess she is sworn to protect.

Fans of the series, of course, know that the Princess is, in reality, Usagi herself, as revealed in Act 25. Very little is known about the Princess at this point in time.

Usagi Tsukino is the eldest of two children, elder sister to brother Shingo. Her mother, Ikuko, is officially classified by several as the nuttiest, craziest, yet coolest mom evah.

Moon Prism Power!
Her best friend is Naru Osaka, and they both attend Juuban Junior High, where the desks--wait for it--are pink. All of them. Tough for the boys, eh? Usagi and Naru--well, Usagi, particulary, has an unhealthy obsession with karaoke.

Among Usagi's other talents are her genuine concern for others, her limitless enthusiasm, her unyielding loyalty to her friends, and a determination to do the right thing. All these are put to the trial and more during Usagi's many adventures.

Usagi is also smitten with the young man Mamoru Chiba, secretly the last-minute hero Tuxedo Kamen (he saves the Senshi--Moon, particularly--in times of dire need) and previously the Prince of the Earth. In their past lives, Usagi's and Mamoru's relationship caused the destruction of the Moon and Earth Kingdoms. This time around, however, they want to prove the others wrong and stay together. Why exactly this relationship is forbidden is unclear at this point in the series, seeing as Zoicite, Kunzite, and Sailorvenus only have their memories of the past awakened.

Each senshi has her own specific "salute" that reflects her home planet. Sailormoon presses her two front fingers together and tucks her remaining two under her thumb, much like the American Sign Language sign for the letter "U". All the senshi share the "I'll punish you" hand sign, the two middle fingers tucked under the thumb and the pointer and pinkie fingers extended.

Powers
"Moon Prism Power! Make Up!" Usagi shouts this to become Sailormoon. She crosses her hands and a crescent moon adheres itself to her charm, expanding it into the Heart Moon Broach. Usagi swipes the heart of the lipstick against the gem of her broach, applies the lipstick, then throws her arm around her head to transform her hair into a rich gold. She spins against a spinning wheel composed of stars and planetary symbols. Usagi brushes her hand over her legs and her boots appear, then holds up her arms so her gloves are formed by ribbons. Crossing her wrists over her neck, she makes her choker appear, then she holds her arms out as her bows and skirt appear. The nearly-assembled Sailormoon brushes her right hand across her forehead in the Moon salute, forming her tiara in a glitter of light, and she poses above the Earth with a sparkling crescent moon in the background.

"Moon Healing Escalation!" Sailormoon's first attack. She lifts the Moonlight Stick into the air. The crescent moon glows, and the pretty guardian brings it down and around in a circle, lifting up her left leg as she completes the circles. Grasping her ankle in her hands, she spins like a figure skater twice, then steps out of the turn, sweeping her wand down and up through a wave of sparkles that shoot out at the enemy, healing it.

"Moon Tiara Boomerang!" Sailormoon lifts her right hand to her forehead in its salute. Light flares from her tiara, and it transforms into a golden boomerang with the design and decoration of her tiara. She flicks the boomerang out, then brings it down across her body, crouching. The boomerang leaves a trail of sparkles, flashes, and glows with golden energy, and Sailormoon flings her arm wide, releasing it, while saluting with her left hand. This attack serves to distract, delay, or disarm the enemy.

"Moon Twilight Flash!" The scariest attack, yet, coolest if executed right (as in Act 30). Sailormoon hefts her Moonlight Stick, it glows. She crouches and spins into a pirouette, right leg extended all the way up so that it's lying directly against her torso, arms hugging the leg. Thing is, she pirouettes into three different ghostly apparations of herself. Spinning out of the dervish, she aims her wand and fireworks leap out from the wand at the enemy while shouting "Flash!" and the opposition is eliminated.
In Act 30, Sailormoon simply holds up the wand, spins it in a circle in front of her body as the moon glows, pulls in slightly before yelling "Flash" at which she thrusts the attack directly at the youma. A big pulsing pink flare emits from the wand, striking the youma multiple times as it trails golden sparks, and then it explodes. After Act 30, the sequence is put back in, but the final burst of energy is basically replaced thereafter by this powerful energy.

Ginzuishou Power Not really an attack or titled. However, Sailormoon has this tendency to release waves of powerful energy from her broach when her emotions become too strong. This energy usually takes the form of a swirling yellow globe or a bright silver nova of light.

"Moonlight Attractive Attack!" The group attack, in which the other Senshi use their Sailor Star Tambourines and Moon uses her Moonlight Stick. Amid much weapon waving, the four Senshi join their tambourines and release a globe of energy which concentrates itself into Moon's broach and wand. Moon holds up her wand, spins once, then kneels and thrusts the energy outward as her fellow Senshi do likewise behind her. The girls stand in a desertlike plain with a large golden crescent moon looming behind them. This attack kicks.

Items (in order of appearance)

Images coming soon Teletia S Usagi's cellphone, used to communicate with Luna and the other senshi. It is also the magical item she uses to disguise herself; she takes a picture with the built-in camera and presses the moon-shaped button. Presto, she is wearing the clothes of the person in the picture. Usagi can take multiple pictures with this phone and save them. The cool thing about this phone is, it isn't just a magical item, it is used as a normal cell phone as well. I wonder what plan she's on.

Pendant Usagi wears a tiny heart-shaped pendant on a golden chain that is the smaller version of her broach as Sailormoon. She uses this charm to transform into Sailormoon.

Lipstick Usagi swipes her lipstick across her broach to activate its transformation magic and applies it at the beginning of her transformation sequence. (In reality, little more than a captivating new toy to grab little girls' attention and have their parents buy them toys)

Heart Moon Broach The enlarged version of Usagi's pendant. It is a concentration point for the Ginzuishou's power.

Moonlight Stick Sailormoon uses this wand to perform her attacks and defend in a sword fight (that's a pretty tough wand). To summon it, she salutes the air, and the wand comes spinning out of a burst of light from the gem in her broach.

Crown Karaoke Pass The fake pass Luna gives Usagi so she can get into the Crown Karaoke bar whenever she so pleases. This is so the Senshi can gather in the secret karaoke room where they have their Senshi meetings.

Moon Tiara Sailormoon can use her tiara as a weapon by throwing it and shouting "Moon Tiara Boomerang". It turns into a huge boomerang and smacks the enemy.

Ginzuishou Princess Serenity's powerful instrument of magic. Shaped like a tear-drop crystal, it first appears in act 25, when it forms out of a tear Serenity sheds in fear for Tuxedo Kamen's life. The magic of this crystal is so strong it's nearly dangerous, as it affects Queen Metaria's power when it is activated.
