Personal History:
Born in the Carey family, Robert had huge shoes to fill, with the family being famous for making names for themselves in security, everyone had expected him to do the same. Even with the high expectations, he did not let them bother him, after all he had known by the early age of five that he wanted to be in the security field when he grew up. When he finished high school, no one was surprised when he enrolled into Starfleet and passed with flying colors to the security training.

While in the Academy the regular courses, he found was to easy for him so he decided to take most of his courses in Hazard ops, a new dept just coming out, with harder more complicated training to go through along with the regular security courses. He found it exhilarating, and at the end of the course, he was among the top three of his class.

When he graduated he was given a posting on the USS Morning Praise as Hazard team XO, being one of the new graduates complete the course, and the ship looking for someone fresh, they decoded to put him in the XO position on the team. For quite a while, he was looked down upon by the other officers of the team, but time and time again, in battle, and in rescue missions, he became accepted as the XO, and was eventually made one of the team.

In 2378 during a battle with some rogue Klingons, the hazard team was sent over to the Klingon bird of prey do disable the ship from the inside. It was supposed to be a stealth operation, but things didn't go as planned and the majority of the team was wiped out, including the hazard team CO. Though badly injured, Robert was able to complete the mission and get everyone regardless dead or alive back to the Morning Praise. After a few weeks, Robert was given Command of the team and a promotion to Lt JG.

For the next year, the morning star got in skirmishes with the Orion syndicate, and the team became instrumental in bringing down one faction of the syndicate that was operating in the Bajoran sector. When the Morning Praise was being sent on a five year mission into the gamma quadrant, he asked for a transfer.

The Shenandoah, an intrepid class starship sent on mostly tactical missions, was different for him, it was a smaller command but it brought him new experiences. Rescuing ambassadors from hostages, taking down some pirates, and even some Borg encounters. However in 2383 when a position to Lt on the Drake opened up, he jumped on the chance.

On the USS Drake, the next two years was a drag, it was simply on patrol and whenever he asked for a transfer the answer was always declined. So he made the best of what ever he could and stayed there biting his lip wishing he hadn't left the Shenandoah. In 2384 he finally requested a transfer, and is currently awaiting the reply.

Personality Profile:
Bring from the Carey Gene pool, he strives to make his own mark in History, and so far he has been making it, he doesn't do it for any glory or honor, or to live up to the carey name, he does it for himself and knowing that he makes a difference is the only thing that matters to him.

Special Notes:
Got a slash on the side of the throat from a former away team mission that had gone wrong.
