On May 2nd, 2351, Steven was born on Starbase 6 to Lt. Commander Marcus and Lieutenant Marie Johnson. Steven Spent Years living on Starships and Starbases with his parents, so it was obvious that he would want to be a part of Starfleet. But instead of attending Starfleet Academy like his parents, he decided to go to the Marine Corps Academy. Upon Graduating Steven immediately found himself thrown into the front lines into the Dominion War. As a young lieutenant seeing the war first hand and witnessing the men and women serving under began to mess with his head, but he continued to do what needed to be done. After the war, Johnson was transferred to the USS Archer, a ship responsible for patrolling the Breen border. Johnson once again found himself going up against the Breen on many occasions. In 2379, the Marine CO decided to promote Steven to Lt. Major making him his new Executive Officer. But in 2382, due to a surprise attack by the Breen, the USS Archer was declared unsalvageable. This forced the crew to transfer to different assignments. When an opening for an Executive Officer opened aboard the USS Resolutions 171st Battalion, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to start over. On the Resolution, Steven soon began a relationship with the Chief Tactical Officer Heather Yamaguchi. In 2383, she had received orders to the USS Victory. Johnson not wanting to be without her, put in orders for Company Commander position onboard the Victory and was surprised when he got it along with a promotion to Lt. Colonel.
