1. Introduction
This walkthru is to help you beat the Major Kira level of Star Trek Deep Space Nine: The Fallen, so first off install and load the game.
2 Training Mission
When you load the game and select the New Game feature you will be able to choose between three characters, Captain Benjamin Sisko, Major Kira Nerys, Lieutenant Commander Worf. Select Major Kira and choose Training Mission.
When the Tutorial starts you will have no weapons and no equipment, you get some later. For now just go forward 3 doorways (two actual doors stand in your way.) Just run straight after the game shows you the stairs you have to climb. You will automatically climb the first one, after that you gotta go down. Easy just continue to press the forward key, usually “W” and you will jump down. To climb down just go to the edge and hit the crouch key. The crouch key is defaulted at “C.” If you jumped turn to your left, if you climbed down just Strafe to your right, it’s the “D” key. Now you see a Jeffries tube that you gotta get through, just hit crouch and walk through like a normal door. Hit “C” again to stand back up at the end.
This is the jumping section, for now just run up to the walls shorter than you and keep pushing forward and you’ll go up. Disregard the Transporter pad in the corner, it’s only used if you fall down into the cracks, you’ll see what I mean later. Just go to the higher platform edge and jump while pushing forwads. It will take quite a long time to master this skill, and I do mean a long time, when you get up you will see a canyon in between you and the next segment of floor, go to the side so the right wall is beside you and run and jump at the same time to get across, then strafe to your left so your in the middle of the little fence/wall thing, then again run and jump to cross the next canyon. Go through the door.
To your left is a arch to another Transporter alcove, ignore it and go straight. When you’re through the door, look left there should be an orange line go over to it and jump like you did for the high ledges, then hit the strafe key to get over to the other side. Do the same for the other orange ledge. Now this is the hard part, jump up so that you dangle from the gold beam, then just run to the door.
Now you actually get to do something, you get a tricorder now.Hit F2 to bring up the tricorderr. From the first door, turn right so you can see the other door, turn so that the door is to your left in the middle of the wall is a indent in the horizantal ledge thing, there is a switch there, use your tricorder to scan it if you want, you don’t need to. You can just go up to it and it will automatically open the door for you. Again go through the door.
Here is where the fun starts, first off you get a phaser, second the room is mined, use your tricorder to see where the mines are then hit the right mouse button to scan the mines, use the location of the cursor as a target. Hit the “1” to bring out your phaser. Note that your tricorder has disappeared, you cannot have both a weapon and a tricorder out at the same time. Using the cursor as a target, eliminate the Dominion Subspace Mines, when done scan the Shield Generator beyond the doorway and using the secondary function of your phaser, hold the “Ctrl” key or the right button on the mouse to bring up the phaser modulation display, use the left and right keys to modulate the phaser beam. Modulate it to 19.3 and fire at will. Go through the doorways and around the wall.
Open your commbadge with the “F1” key. Select Odo and use the primary function key to hail him. When you have multiple people able to be hailed use the secondary key to select them. When someone is trying to hail you your commbadge will blink in the upper left corner. Now that you hailed Odo go into the pit and switch to your tricorder. The blue “fog” is an area that you can have items and supplies beamed down to.The tricorder will also flash a white box beside the word “Transport” when you are in the beam in zones. Activate your commbadge and hail Dr. Julian Bashir. When you do he will beam down 2 hyposprays. You just need to stand close enough and you will pick it up normally. Go through the 2 doors.
Now we’re talking got the big guns now, a type 3-A phaser rifle. Go to the giant transporter pad and hit the “2” key to bring your phaser rifle out. The secondary key will let you zoom in on the target. Hit it again to zoom out. When you have disposed of the four targets, you know when they’re black, go through the door that was blocked with a forcefield. And beam out.
You are now somewhere else on the station. Pick up the medkits which contain hyposprays, and pick up the phaser rifle and go through both doors. Turn left and go up the ladder. Jump across where the horizantal beam on the wall guides to. Go over and up the ladder. Go accross the bridge beside the warp core and again go up the ladder. Jump across the gap, above the bridge you had crossed earlier and you won’t need to worry too much about death. Now that that’s done go through the doors, and meet more fate.
Immediately switch to your Phaser Rifle and zoom in a guy should come in at you firing. Don’t worry too much he has poor aim. Just two shots will vaporize him. The two halls on each side are dead ends go through the door and fire at the guy on the second level at the end of the room, there is another guy with a phaser rifle that sounds sorta like a machine gun, below the first guy. If you’re lucky they will leave a corpse for you to scan, you will find that they are Cardassians. Go up the ladder on the right and go beyond the hole in the floor, and you will be congratulated by the computer for beating the training program. Step on the transporter pad to end this mission.
3. Actual Mission
When you load the game and select the New Game feature you will be able to choose between three characters, Captain Benjamin Sisko, Major Kira Nerys, Lieutenant Commander Worf. Select Major Kira and choose Play Game.
When it allows you to, turn around and go down the stairs on the right and turn left into the little room, activate the computer and the big circle wall will go away and lead into the chapel. Leave the room with the computer and go into the chapel and activate the switches on the two statues to open the panels in the back section, go up into the spaces freshly created from the statue switches, pick up the two hyposprays from the left alcove, and the stone tablet from the right. You will need the tablet to get into the Library. Go back to the top of the stairs so your facing down the steps. Strafe to the left with your phaser out. There is a Kahl-taan soldier at the top who will have no qualms about killling you. Kill him and go up the stairs turn left. The path to the left and forwards are dead ends, two Kahl-taan soldiers will come from the right kill them before they kill you and then go down the right path (pun intended). You will come to room with two doorways to the front which leads to a hallway, and a door on the left and right. Go to the left and shoot the guy in the room with the beds, go to the computer and it will say you need a engineering card, you’ll get that later, for now go through either door on either side of the computer and kill the guard. You will find out that the water will lead you to the tower you need to get to. Exit that room and get to the hallway from one of the two doorways from the previous room. You will see a courtyard through the pillars, get to the door and you will be assualted by two guys, one on the top ledge left of the monument in the water and one on the ground left of the first guy. Follow the brown path to the next doorway. Inside you will find a inprint in the wall the shape of the stone tablet. Just to the left of that though are two female hostages and one Kahl-taan soldier, kill him and then use the tablet on the hole and two doors will open. Don’t worry too much about the hostages, I’ve never had them survive and I’ve never lost becasuse of it. The favorite number of the game’s creator must of been two. Go down one of the stairs from the hidden doors and make it down to the lower library, kill anyone you see because they’ll kill you first if you don’t. Now would be a good time to use a hypospray by the way. Go back to the stairs you didn’t come down on the other one that goes up. These lead to the balcony with the four statues that Keelen told you about. It’s just like back in the chapel, except for instead of two there are four statues, this library is totally symmetrical, so go back down to the lower library and go up the other corresponding stairs to the other balcony, continuing to shoot any hostiles. Switch the switches, and go back down to the library. Where the wall things in the middle of the rooms were the middle should be down if you activated all four switches. The first one has a phaser rifle, the second one has an engineering card. Grab both make your way back up two flights of stairs, through the courtyard, through the halls and into the room with the beds, all with out dying, because that’s bad. Now that your back where you needed to use the engineering card, go over to the computer, and use the engineerring card, it will show a mini-movie of the gate under the water raising. Go through to the room with the water and jump in, walk through the area where the gate was. It was on the right side on the bottom. Walk through and then that’s it level beaten, you will be back to the start screen of the program.

- "Go, now!"
- "Nerys, follow Jaro. He'll lead you to the chapel. "
- Hidden inside you'll find supplies and the key to our library.
- Be careful. The Kahl-Taan have already infiltrated the monastery and the tower.
- Take the stairs down to the chapel.
- "Keelen, I'm inside the chapel."
- There are hidden switches on both statue pedestals. Activate them.
- "Once the panels open, take the supplies and the library key — it's a stone tablet."

- "Old habits die hard, Nerys."
- "Obanak, I've got the key."
- Head to the library. It's on the other side of the courtyard.
- Look sharp.
- "Keelen, does the pool connect to a reservoir?"
- Affirmative.
- The pool connects to the main reservoir and environment control center. That's your objective.
- But you'll need to raise the reservoir grate first.
- Go to the library and get the engineering card. It'll grant you access to the environment controls.
- "Quickly, Nerys!"
- "Keelen, I'm inside the library."
- Locate the four statues and activate the switches on each pedestal.
- Then head to the stone murals in the middle of the library.
- Grab the engineering access key and the rifle.
- Rifle? You keep weapons in a place of worship?
- Can you blame me?
- Obanak to Kira. Head back to the cleansing pool in the habitat area.
- With the engineering card you can access the environment controls and open the reservoir grate.
- "Now, swim through to the reservoir and the environment control center."
- Keelen used to be one of the best soldiers in the Bajoran resistance ... and he was a good
friend. But now he's the leader of the Cult of the Pah-wraiths.
- "I'm disgusted by his choice of religions, but after all we've been through, I can't just turn my back on him."
- "Obanak truly believes the Prophets have abandoned Bajor, and that the Pah-wraiths are the true Prophets."
- "He makes a very convincing argument. ... I hate to admit it, but he almost had me believing it."
- Now he wants me to help him convince the Federation to put pressure on the Vedek Assembly to let him and his Cult explore the ancient temple on Jeraddo.
- "I don't know what to do. I want to help him — but if I do, am I helping the Pah-wraiths?"
- "I gave him my word I'd always be there for him. If I say no to his request, I might as well forget every promise I ever made."
- "Kira, it's an ambush! Those bastards in the Assembly have sent a team of killers to silence us!"
- "Kira to runabout. Computer, respond."
- "It's no use, Nerys. They're jamming long-range communications."
- "Keelen, does the monastery have a subspace transceiver?"
- Affirmative. The communication array is mounted on the tower on the opposite side of the bridge
- "If we realign the array's transceiver coils, we may be able to send a focused subspace signal to the runabout and beam everyone to safety."
- "It's worth a shot, but the enemy has blocked the top of the bridge with their APC. You'll need to take a less direct approach to the tower."
- Acknowledged — just feed me the directions.
- I'll get my brethren to safety. We'll rendezvous at the tower. Obanak out
6. Thanks
I would like to give thanks to my friend Derek Chechek for downloading and burning me a copy of The Fallen Demo, Tom Ramey for suppling some tactics for Worf’s level and Mrs. Craig for making me do an instructional text and allowing me to do a walkthru, without her this walkthru would probably never exist. And finally the Great Bird of the Galaxy, Gene Roddenberry himself, for without him the universe of Star Trek wouldn’t exist.
