Personal History: Rita is outwardly sensitive about her past, though she has excelled in most everything she has done, she is still hurt by the loss of many of her loved ones.  Her fiancé, and her parents were both killed in a transporter accident on Earth...New Zealand, when they had come to visit her at the academy.
