Security
 The security and tactical departments of
Starbase Liberty are combined into one large department headed by Lt
John Duncan, a 7 foot tall, 300 pound El Aurian male. Though the
picture in people's minds is that Duncan is a hard man, he is not.
He is gentle and understanding, but he DOES expect very high moral
values of his officers, and his co-workers. If you disappoint Duncan
he will give you the lecture of your lifetime. His facial
expressions and the way that it looks like you really let him down
are enough to let you know that he means business
though.
Duncan's team consists of Ensign Horatio Todd, Lt Jg Jrala Binx, Lt Jg Marin Jall, and Deputy Artimus Forlum, a civilian ex-bounty hunter. The Security department's ongoing and primary mission is to keep safe all of the men and women on the Starbase, and those who come to visit it. The team has their hands full because of terrorist attacks, enemy assaults, and beam-ins, and the normal every day petty crime on the Starbase. Duncan listens to his people and their ideas and incorporates the ideas into his plan of attack in order to make the Starbase a safe and happy place to live and visit. Security is also called upon to help on away missions and onboard the USS Epimethius, the Starship assigned to the starbase.
