Personal Traits: Solon is a perfectionist by nature, but can be inventive and improvise when posed with a problem. He is hardworking and honest. Solon is very interested in the history of Spock's tenure on the Enterprises under Kirk's command. More to his effective interaction with those officers with which he worked.
Personality: Very effective. Has a capacity to produce dry humor in some situations. However, Solon is rarely personable, and rarely makes friends of any type. He is sometimes seen as harsh, demanding of his crew, and at some times, you'd get better companionship speaking with the onboard computer.

Hobbies: Plays the Vulcan lyre, but very, very seldom in anyone's presence. He is rarely beaten by anyone in 3d chess, but will play the computer on occasion.
Pre-Academy History: During his tenure at the Vulcan Science Academy he mind melded with a student named Bob Simpson, a breed mixture. Details of such meld is classified as level crimson (Full Admirals and higher) due to Starfleet's role to stop a disaster before it was popularly known to exist. Of course Solon was proud of Bob's capability but was unable to associate with him due to his parent's forbidding such contact. However, due to this meld Solon failed in achieving kolinahr. He then went on into Starfleet academy after spending approximately two years as a member of the Vulcan Intelligence Matrix, an agency much like that of America's NSA and CIA put together. Schooled in Kholinahr for 20 years. Failed completion. Attended Vulcan Science Academy.

Personal History: Has met and established a relationship with Montgomery Scott and Captain Morgan Bateson of the Bozeman. Admiral McCoy was the only human to defeat Solon in 3D chess. Boothby was quite respectful to Solon and acted unemotional in his presence in order to make him feel more at home. While on Shoreleave on what is now Starbase Liberty he, with the help of a doctor Slemik there, bonded with Kate Pulaski, CMO of the Excalibur during his Ponn Far. They are currently unmarried and were living in joined quarters on Excalibur before the Excalibur was decommissioned. At times their relationship was rocky, but Solon does somewhat attempt to reach a "medium" between his beliefs and hers. The bonding was able to occur due to the fact that Pulaski is half Bajoran and half Romulan. (See Kate Pulaski's file for other details) During his service on the Excalibur, he encountered again Bob Simpson, at the time Helmsman and later Chief Security Officer of the ship. A bit ago Lt. Commander Bob Simpson disappeared in a special ops training exercise (Solon has data that suggests Bob and others had a big battle and something occurred to phase him into another universe). Bob Simpson was the only person he considered to be his "friend". His parents, due to Pulaski's bonding to him, and his "attitude" about it, have broken contact between him and his parents. Solon has made no move to rectify his parent-offspring relationship.
