OmniRush

The following is what I sent in an e-mail to  several of my friends. It assumes you start off in a  multiplayer map with standard units (Hatchery, four Drones, and an Overlord), and the normal 50 minerals. It goes from a simple Zergling rush to distrupt your enemies at the beginning all the way to rampages of 50 Zerglings, Mutalisks, and Ultralisks.

Here  is the replay of my 56 minute computer smashing mania. I completed an entire OmniRush successfully.  Here's the plan for              how to do it... (it's a highly effective whole game technique to use with Zerg against any opponent).

The OmniRush Tutorial, written by MB12387:

Level 1

Tell all Zerg Drones to gather.
Build another drone with the 50 starting ore.
Each time you get ore, build a drone and have it gather until you have 8 supply used up (morphing drones take supply as soon as you order them built).
Once you have 7 drones constructed, use 75 minerals to build a creep colony somewhere. (Tip: send a drone to the location you want it to become a structure at when you're building minerals up to morph it. That way it doesn't take extra time to get to it's intended destination)
As soon as the eighth drone is built, use the next 200 minerals for a Spawning Pool.
While the spawning pool builds, use the next 100 minerals for an Overlord.
Hot key your Hatchery and set a good rally point while these things build.
By the time the Overlord builds, you will have at least 200 minerals, and your Spawning Pool will be almost done.
As soon as the pool is done, tell 3 of your Larvae to morph to Zerglings.
While the 'lings build, morph the creep colony into a sunken colony.
Use the next Larva you get to morph a drone.  Send this drone to build a creep  colony with your next 75 minerals.
As soon as the 'lings finish, send them off to find and attack your enemy (Tip: Destroy all the enemy's defenders before engaging in combat with anything else.  Then kill their unit producing structures (if they're Zerg, take out the Spawning Pool and such). Once they can't build more support, directly target their Nexus, Hatchery, or Command Center.)
While the 'lings were attacking, your drones  should have gathered enough minerals to build another Hatchery. Create another drone, and use it to begin morphing another Hatchery as close to more minerals that you're not gathering from as              possible.
You should also have enough minerals to morph the second creep colony into a sunken colony. You may be able to do this while your 'lings find their target depending on your speed and coordination.
While the new Hatchery builds, get more 'lings to defend yourself, defend an ally, or attack an enemy at your disgression.

Level 2

Now, get an Evolution Chamber, and try to grab at least two Vespane Geysers (Tip: Send only three drones to each geyser if it is at the minimum range to a Hatchery. If it is farther, add one drone per about 2 matrix  square to your gathering crew (Two matrix square is about the width of a sunken colony).)
Research burrowing as you save money for a Hydralisk Den.
When you have enough money, build a Hydralisk Den. While you wait for gas, use any spare minerals to build              Sunken Colonies (Tip: If possible, place two Sunken Colonies with a  Spore Colony. Put these groups of three colonies around your  base, separating them by at least the width of a Hatchery.)
While the Hydralisk Den is building, morph your starting Hatchery into a Lair.
After completing the Hydralisk Den, try to secure your area with Sunken and Spore Colony groups. Try and reach              for four Hatcheries at your main base. Expansion is optional,  unless you are playing on an incredibly low money map.

Level  3

Get a Spire, and while it builds, a Queen's nest. If you want, you can build two Spires and an additional two              Evolution Chambers to increase your upgrade capacity. Make sure that all the mineral fields in your base are being gathered from by one drone (unless they're far away, then you can have more). Get a flow of minerals and Vespane Gas that will support  spending sprees of up to 1000 minerals and gas at once.

Level  4

From here, try and secure your base as well as you can while building Hydralisks, Lurkers, and Zerglings. A Greater              Spire is optional, but you must achieve Hive level in order to research Melee Attacks and Zerg Carapace to their fullest.
Upgrade at the Hydralisk den and the Spawning Pool until you have full speed upgrades. An Ultralisk Cavern may help, since Ultralisks are basically just Zerglings on steroids, and will back up your attacks with muscle and intimidation.
Build at least 36 Zerglings fully upgraded, and escort them with your favorite larger units. 48 Zerglings is preferable, but it is not required. Make sure you have 8 Hatcheries total by the time you attempt this, that way you can churn out 'lings and other units at top speed. I prefer escorting my 48 'lings with 24 to 48 Mutalisks and 6 Ultralisks, but usually, that's not possible. The Mutalisks or Ultralisks alone could pose a serious threat to any player who is not well established defensively, so along with your swarms of 'lings, you should be able to do some serious stomping.

Level 5

Continue to hammer you enemies with groups of 'lings, and send some 'hydras out also. Lurkers  never hurt. Occasionally morph some 'mutas into Guardians or Devourers.  That isn't really worth your time if you are running your Hatcheries at top capacity. When you send one wave of units out, be already constructing the next. By this point in the game, you've either beaten the crap out of your enemies, or you're being Nuked, Yamatoed, Seiged, Reavered, Guardianed, Zealoted, or Carriered. If you're losing that  badly, or are tying the game, use Ultralisks and Guardians. Keep Scourge around. If you can get some, Infested  Terrans can really make the difference in a tight  battle.

Endgame Notes

From Here, there's almost nothing more the OmniRush can do for you. It all depends on your own personal skill. You've ascended the Tech Tree and slammed your opponent with almost every weapon in the Zerg Arsenal. You've either assured victory by now, or you're spiraling down to defeat. If you're sure you're going to lose, make yourself a pest with Broodlings, Plagues, Parasites, and Lurkers. <PART DELETED> There are no guarantees with using any single strategy, since much of it depends on how well you can execute attacks and how intelligent your opponents are. If they complete a Terran              Marine Swarm or a Siege Blast on you, youıll most likely lose if you  haven't executed the disrupting rush properly. Protoss Zealot rushes and Corsair/Scout raids are effective against inexperienced players regardless of the strategy you use. If your opponent  is Zerg, youıll most likely win, since they will often try for a Hydralisk or Guardian Slam. The swarms of lings and mutas from OmniRush tend to devastate high technology attacks. A single group of fully upped lings can wreak havoc on an     enemy's defenses, especially if theyıre Protoss. Photon Cannons donıt hold up well to Zerglings at top upgrade level.              Iıve seen 12 lings take on 5 or 6 Photon Cannons and
win. Just remember that it all depends on your skill. With enough determination, even novices can defeat experts  after only four or five games worth of OmniRush  experience.
