MUTALISK RUSH BUILD ORDER (ISLANDS ONLY)

This build-order is an extremely fast way to get units in the air, but is only suited for island maps, since it almost entirely circumvents base defense. You should always scout out your opponent with the original Overlord. If he is planning to perform a quick drop, it may be a good idea to use the build order for land maps; it takes into account the production of ground-base defenses. Alternatively, you can use the air units to defend against incoming transports. As with the previous build-order, its best to wait the two extra minutes and morph the Mutalisks into Guardians when facing a Terran opponent; Marines do extremely well against Mutalisks, especially with Medic support.

Order the original four Drones to gather minerals at separate patches. Morph three more Drones, and send the Overlord to your opponent's base.
Once the third Drone (7/9 control) has hatched, begin an Overlord, then two more Drones.
Once the eighth drone hatches (will happen when the control meter reads 9/9, since another Drone is on the way), use it to mutate an Extractor. The control meter will return to 8/9, and produce another drone.
When the last Drone hatches, mutate a Spawning Pool with it.
With the completion of the Extractor, pull two Drones off mienrals and order them to gather Vespene
Morph four more Drones for mineral gathering (ie: until control meter reads 14/17).
Evolve the Hatchery into a Lair the instant the Spawning Pool is complete. Morph three more Drones; put two on gas-gathering and with the third spawn a second Hatchery.
As soon as the Lair is finished, mutate a Spire. Hatch two additional Overlords before the Spire is complete. Make sure that mineral gather is maximized, but try to save as many minerals as you have gas for the completion of the Spire.
When the Spire finishes, produce as many Mutalisk as you can from both Hatcheries (probably five or six) and go on the attack.
