Unfortunately, now that high school is done, so are the Quebec trips, and so is this website. It's hard to believe that I will not be updating this site next year with more crazy pics of my high school March Break trips! It's crazy how fast time flies. It feels like just yesterday I got out of grade nine alive and without getting initiated... and  now, I'm out forever and I'm on my way to bigger and hopefully better things. Where has it all gone?  But at least I've been left with five years of great memories. I feel extremely lucky to have had such a fun time. Of course, there were some ups and downs, but it's all part of a teenage life. High school was good, but could have been a lot better, like us having a football team (oh, those Metro Bowl days at Clarkson!) and other stuff. I will never forget the insane rivalry between us and Lorne Park, the crazy football games, the hockey games and the fights they brought... coz Clarkson is #1!!! We were known as the football school, and later as the hockey school. What saddens me the most is that we were also known as the "no sports" school. We had some crazy Charity Drives, some fun banquets (1999-2000 Athletic Banquet organized by... yours truly!), and overall good times. And through it all, I can honestly say that I learned a lot... both education wise as well as socially.
STAR'S GRAND FINALE
This last semester of my high school life has been truly amazing, thanx to so many great people! March Break was awesome! You know from the website! Charity week wasn't that bad at all. We did raise $25 000 for Camp Trillium... and I have never before and don't think I ever will again be wrapped in seran wrap (and be chased with an exactor knife!). Grad formal, I didn't go to... but the after party at Ti's was fun. I don't think I'll ever get as drunk and go around with a CD case telling everyone Burton Cummings is sexy ever again! There were so many more great parties! Fun times, Drunk times, Stupid times, but Great times!
And as for me having turned 19 in May 2001.... what can I say! Those who know me know.... well, you know !  So when are we going bar hopping again?! Ha ha ha!  One thing I still wish I'd learn is not to mix drinks! Like, how many times do I have to puke before I learn my lesson! But hey... they're all sooooo good, how can you resist! For the girls out there, I recommend ordering a "Blow Job". It's the best shot out there next to "Bazooka Joe". I think that 19 is the best age to turn, coz not only are you legal to buy your own alcohol, but you can go anywhere you want, without having to worry about being turned away at the door. But let me tell ya.... my poor poor liver!
I must admit that I am having a hard time dealing with this whole splitting up business. It's that time in our life when everyone's going off on different paths, ready to start their new life somewhere far away from home.  It's really hard to grasp. It's really sad too. We spent so much time together, been with some people since kindergarten... and now we're going off, our separate ways.  Will we keep in touch? Only time will tell.  But we're bound to see each other at our Clarkson Reunion... that's if we don't run into one another at the supermarket trying to push a shopping cart and a stroller at the same time! (Oh gosh... too much "future" for now!)

But for now, all I can say is enjoy the time you have left, you have absolutely  no idea how much you'll miss it! Sure, university is fun, but there's just that little something about high school... when you know everyone and everyone knows you. And hey, they say "nothing can beat Frosh Week!" - true enough!

But I'll still be around, going to U of T... so for those who are staying behind as well, we'll stay in touch! Trust me... with a little time, I'll know all the bars, pubs, and clubs downtown inside and out! We'll go out for some drinks!

Thank you everyone for everything!
I love you all, and my memories will never fade!

BACK TO HOMEPAGE
I want to take this opportunity to say a few last words.
a sprinkle of .:*StAr.:.DuSt*:. makes everything better
...and remember...
But quite honestly, I don't think I would have ever made it through high school without my Timmy's! XL is where it's at! My huge Carleton coffee mug too. That thing is the greatest! It holds the amount of 2.5 regular mugs of coffee in one! And hey, after all the long nights partying and the many many all-nighters I pulled doing my very last minute assignments, I needed it! And the 24hour Tim Horton's at Winston Churchill & Erin Centre Blvd was my saviour - 2am and 4am coffee runs! But I can't forget our local Tim Horton's/Wendy's... where without that stop every morning (spare, lunch, etc.) I would've been zombied out all day long. The ladies there knew my orders for every run of the day! ha ha ha!  Ugh... Nuff said! And now... in university, it still hasn't ended. Shout-outs to the Dundas/Hwy 403 Timmy's and to all the Timmy's boys!! Oh, and I can't forget Coffee Time next door!! Wow. Coffee case closed!

I guess this is where I thank you all for having voted me the grad most likely to O.D. on caffeine in the grad survey! *takes a sip of her Iced Cap* ... but I really don't know what you're talking about! Me??? Caffeine??? You're imagining things!

...and last but not least, I must acknowledge the following guys:
Brad Boyes
Thanx for the nickname! Ha Ha Ha
It's been a great number of years!

Max Wlodarski
I wish we could've known each other for more than three years. I will never forget the mini-bus in grade nine, and you throwing pineapple slices at the condom truck! Oh and the spitballs! You always knew how to make people laugh!
Miss ya lots!   Rest in Peace.
