melcey

      You decide to go down the path marked Melceys. You wonder what melceys are, never having heard of them. As you walk down the path you stare around, hoping to catch a glimse of these unknown creatures. Through a gap in the trees overhead you spot a mountain looming up above you. the clouds seem to play around the top like live cottonballs. Behind you a twig breaks. You twirl around to look and you see two creatures standing there that are kind of dog-like, or is it cat-like? You can't decide. One seems to have a pattern over it's dark fur like blue fire. The other is colored more lightly, but somehow you are reminded of water. To your surprise they walk over to you.
     "Greatings" The blue melcey grins." You didn't expect me to talk." You tell him that you didn't. You ask why he is in the groups section of the park if there are only two of them.
      "We melceys live in packs like wolves, but at the moment we are the only melceys in the park, and two isn't enough to start a herd." Shoko, the dark blue melcey tells you. "If we were to start a pack I would be the leader."
     "And I would just be a member!" The lighter colored one grins. "I'm Shoko's mate, Lyra." You ask where you could adopt a melcey.
     "If you look on my stats table you'll see a link at the bottom." He looks at you. "Since there are no others besides us I suggest you do not continue on. You could come back sometime later and you might see me in the middle of my own pack! Good-bye for now!" He turns and trots toward the mountains, which you guess is where his home is.
