My P.O.V.

Let me level with you all, as my fast living auntie broke it down to me one day. Men are attracted to shiny things. They do not care how dangerous or toxic they are to them. She called me a diamond in the rough, whilst all the other bitches out there are just cut glass.

I am the girl that every man wants to go out with, have a good time with, and have good sex with before they settle down to a lifetime of nagging, responsibility, and bad or sometimes non-existent sex with some good girl whose 18 hours are almost up on her figure. I am not the girl men want to marry. Why?

Could it be that I encourage a no-pressure situation when I choose to get involved with someone? I do not wish to put anyone on lockdown? I am not madly obsessed with the idea of procreating? I engage in terribly immature activities with immature individuals?

I hear the lament of many a dude who wishes their wife/girlfriend were more like me. Sometimes I want to just say you had your choice, and you chose poorly. What up with the good girl/Malibu Barbie mind-control technique? You guys all go for the all style no substance chicks in their prada stilettos that hurt their feet, and empty minds who could not spell middle east much less tell you what is going on there.

In each contest I lose. But they come back to me to recoup, when they break up with Malibu Barbie. They have a good time, find out what sex is like again, and get a chance to be themselves again. Some say if you cannot beat them, join them. I say that is against my religion to feign stupidity and blatant manipulation to trap someone into caring for you. I would cease to be myself, and make myself sick while I am at it. Plus my feet are way too small to wear heels that high on a regular basis.

I can only conclude than men like being devoured by harpies. And I am left to pick up the pieces. Or my buddy guy has a theory that I am just too intimidating to be a girlfriend, because they just might end up falling for me and the risk is too much for them.
