and vampires (this is debated by some).
What is the difference between
a furrie and a lycanthrope?

Furries are basically good in nature, with a few exceptions. | Lycanthropes are basically evil in nature, with a few exceptions. |
Furries usually live in societies that rival human's in area of advancement and ideals. | Lycanthropes usually prefer primative societies, anything where the strong dominate over the weak. |
Furries, in essence, are animals that have grown to rival humans in most aspects. | Lycanthropes, in essence, are humans that have fallen to rival animals in most aspects. |
Furries are usually reletively intelligent (at least by human standards) and are governed by thought. | Lycanthropes are usually insane (though occasianlly a sane one will appear) and are governed by instinct. |
Furries love learning, books, nice clothes, and personal advancement. | A lycanthrope is satisfied with a loin cloth, any wepon that requires brute streangth, and freash blood as a part of most meals. |
Furries are usually born in warm loving homes, raised to adulthood by caring parents. | Lycanthropes are occsionally born, but most often made by a bite from another lycanthrope of the same type. |
Furries are furries for life. They are born furrie, live furrie, and die furrie. They live (compared with humans) relatively normal lives. Except they often get the added advantage of wings or a tail. | Lycanthropes usually begin their lives human, they will also be a half-animal and full animal at times, often the change is triggered by something along the lines of a full moon, intense anger, etc. A few lycanthropes can control when they change. |
Which is more powerful, a furrie
or lycanthrope?
Depends. Lycanthropes tend to be stronger than
furries, but furries tend to be smarter and quicker than a lycanthrope.
It's the age old question, brains or brawn? If you have one of each group,
armed with guns, the furrie will win, if it's wrestling, the lycanthrope
would win (unless the furrie new martial arts, and/or fancy moves).
Could I have some examples of
each?
Sure...

Why do you keep saying that Vampires
are "sort of" lycanthropes?
Vampires have all of the attributes of lycanthropes.
They are part human, part bat, usually evil, a vampire bite can turn you
into a vampire, and they have a tendency to change between human and bat.
But, a vampire is undead. Meaning that it is a magically animated corpse.
Though it may act alive and have a soul, it is not truely alive. Its heart
will not beat, and sometimes their bodies can decay on them. Thus, since
lycanthropes are living creatures, many consider vampires not a lycanthrope.
