Bryn bounced ahead of Becca, Kat and Cara. She had way, way too much energy for this early in the morning. They were in their way to a briefing with SG-1. The General had told them that they needed to see how a team should give its briefings, not like Bryn tossing off a few facts, Becca running round in circles, Cara stealing all the pens and trying to set them on fire and Kat ignoring everything that was being said.

She entered the briefing room at a run and went around, thwacking everyone on the head.

“Good morning!” She said brightly. “Isn’t it a lovely morning? I suppose so! But I wouldn’t really know since I never left the mountain last night!” She continued bouncing around until Becca, Kat and Cara came into view, trudging wearily. It was obvious that Bryn must have kept them up last night.

“Colonel, Major, Lt Colonel, Kat. How nice of you to join us,” Hammond says, slightly annoyed at them for being late.

“Hey George,” Cara says tiredly. “Blame Bryn…she did her best to make sure we couldn’t find anything to wear this morning, and we didn’t think you’d appreciate us showing up in our pjs.”

“Well, alright…bit down and SG-1 will start the briefing on 93X-577.” Hammond said, as he turned to Daniel. “Dr Jackson? Are you ready to start?”

“What a stupid name 93X-577 is,” Bryn butted in after sitting down. “Lets all call it Planet Hahahehe from now on!”

Becca, Kat and Cara just sat down and shook their heads. “Shut up Bryn!” they said in unison. “This briefing’ll never get down if you don’t shut up,” Becca pointed out. Bryn pouted, but shut up and looked expectantly at Danny.

“Well, uh, 93X-577 is a primative planet. No Goa’uld interferance, nothing The only odd thing is that the natives seem to revere a large…rock,” Daniel started, before looking through his notes for a picture of the rock. Producing it, he passed it around.

“Hey!” shouted Bryn. “This rock looks just like the rock in The Lion King where Simba gets introduced to all the other animals!” Becca and Cara just laughed and nodded, while Kat looked puzzled. SG-1 just looked unimpressed.

“The…Lion King?” Kat asked wondering what Bryn was on about.

“Oh my god! You’ve never seen The Lion King?” Bryn asked.

“Um…no,” Kat said. “You’ve never shown it to me.”

“Oh right!” Bryn said. “Well we’ll just have to act out the scene we’re talking about for you now!”

“Ah, I don’t think…” Hammond started.

“Cara…you sing,” Bryn started, grabbing a chair and dragging it over to the front of the briefing room. “Becca you can be all the other animals, and I’ll be the baboon.”

“But we don’t have a Simba,” pointed out Cara, who looked disappointed that she couldn’t sing.

“Oh! Right…” Bryn looked around for something or someone to use as a Simba. Seeing an odd shaped artefact on the table in front of Danny, she grabbed it. “Here we go!” She got up on the chair, and motioned for Cara to start singing.

Danny, who by now looked VERY scared, headed for Bryn. “Um…that artefact is very delicate…could you just…” Just then, Cara exploded into song

“From the day we arrive on the planet,
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do then can ever be done”

At this point, Becca began bowing towards Bryn, and Bryn held up the artefact/Simba and started waving it around, high in the air.

Danny started running around under the artefact, ready to catch it if Bryn should drop it.

Cara just kept singing, and Becca, who was now making various animal noises, kept bowing.

The General just smacked his hand against his head and hoped that the artefact wouldn’t get broken.

“There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round.”

Teal’c, who was getting rather confused at all this, walked over to Bryn, and plucked her off the chair. She was so startled, that she dropped the artefact/Simba straight into Danny’s hands.

“WHATAREYOUDOING?” She shouted, running all her words into one from the shock of being dangled high above the ground.

Cara choses this moment to stop singing and glares at Teal’c. “PUTHERDOWN!”

Teal’c merely turns to Hammond, and asks what he should do now.

“I think you had better put her down, Teal’c. I get the feeling that she doesn’t like being held up at that height,” He said with a smirk.

Kat, who by this time was rolling around on the floor with laughter, sat up. “Does this mean we can go?”

“Yes! Yes! Go!” Hammond yelled. “You’re too disruptive!”

SG-13 smiled, as this had been their objective all along, and raced out of the room.

“I bags the last bowl of popcorn!” Becca shouted as she tried to get ahead of everyone else.

Jack turned to General Hammond ans asked: “Please, General! We’ll do anything! Just don’t make us ever have to do a briefing with us again?!”

“I think that’s a good idea, Colonel.” Hammond replied, before gesturing at Daniel to finish his briefing.
