Nothing to do during the holiday, try this game, Red Faction. Red Faction is a FPS (First Person Shooter) game. In this game you are Parker, a miner who come to Mars to work in a mining facilities because you want to escape from Earth cause things has not been going your way on Earth. A good idea turned disaster when you find out that things may not go the way it seem on this mining facilities owned by Ultor. You and your fellow miners are treated like yesterday's rubbish and a plague is spreading in the mining facilities itself. Use various weapon to your advantages like Assaults Rifle, Grenades, Rocket Launcher, etc to liberate and save your fellow miners. You also have the ability to pilot and control land, air and sea vehicles. Red Faction revolutionizes next generation gaming with Geo-Mod technology, the ability to completely alter and destroy the environment in real-time. Get Red Faction now cause "The Revolution Is Here".

Pros: A worthy successor to Half-Life. Nice graphic and weapons. Take advantage of the Geo-Mod Techology and blow some holes in the wall for fun.
Cons: Not many. Sometimes you may get confuse with all the paths and roads. Short playing time in single player mode.

"Another one bites the dust" , "Enemy mech destroyed sir". Familiar with this phrases................then welcome to Mechcommander 2, Microsoft's latest game release for this year. Continuing BattleTech's storyline, the game is set in 3062 after the invasion of the Clan Smoke Jaguar. With the diminishing of the clan treat, the Inner Sphere is once again fighting for self interest and domination .You will play as a mercenary commander first hired by House Steiner to destroy the bandit treat on Carver V. But looks can be deceiving.

Pro: Good game playing with nice 3D view. Able to call in supply like air strikes and repair truck without being limited by the requirements set in the mission. All you need to worry about when using this supply is your resource point (RP).
Con: No zoom option like the previous Mechcommander . Very unrealistic and illogical.

Emperor: Battle for Dune
Those who remember Dune 2 will surely know this game...... Emperor: Battle for Dune. Nothing has change much expect for some new weapon and other stuff. You will take the role of a field commander in one of the three houses, Atreides, Harkonnen or Ordos. You will battle 2 of the 3 houses with almost brain-dead units under your command, the huge sandworm lurking beneath Arrakis. All rendered in glorious 3D.
