Robert DeSoto
Age 25
Robert DeSoto has commanded the USS Hood for over twenty years, making him one of the few veteran captains who has refused promotion to flag rank and a desk job, for the experience of remaining in the captain's chair and out among the stars.

Though DeSoto's first officer of 2363, William Riker, had gone on to a stellar career aboard the Enterprise D & E, DeSoto himself has had many interesting tales of his own.

2366 - Transported mission specialist Tam Elbrun for a priority rendezvous with the Enterprise D concerning the Tin Man

2366 - Part of task force sent to RNZ for possible engagement against Romulan buildup at Nelvana III...Proved to be disinformation.
