Background: Ted had a normal childhood being raised mostly by his mother while his father was in Starfleet. Ted got into a bit of trouble as a teen when his mother joined the Diplomatic Core, and due to both his parents working had little supervision. Fearing he would get himself into more trouble his parents agreed to send him to a long time friend of theirs, A Karate Grandmaster by the name of Kai. Under the tulage of Master Kai, Ted was taught discipline, finished his schooling, and learned how to defend himself. At the age of 17 Ted joined Starfleet Academy and during his general studies found that Security interested him most and concentrated on that. He scored well on the testing and at graduation was approached with another offer. He accepted and began his training as a deep cover operative. During his service he was altered to look like a number of different races from Romulan to Klingon for infiltration and information gathering. Ted did very well but as time went by and he took on more and more operations his mind could not take the strain and he broke mentally. After spending time under strict evaluation Ted was again cleared for standard duty. He was transferred to the USS Starfire's security department for a probationary period. Ted did very well and was soon promoted to Asst. Security Chief. He served out his probationary period flawlessly and when the opening on the USS Hood opened up Ted jumped at it.

 

Personality: Ted is a very laid back relaxed. He is social and will talk and joke to just about anyone. The only problem is that Ted cannot be around doctors. He has a strict aversion to them and sickbay. When not out in a crowd he keeps up his fighting skills.

Interests: Ted works out every morning to keep up his fighting skills and also loves archery and swordplay.

Languages: Ted knows quite a few languages but is fluent in Romulan, and Klingon.

Counselor's notes:
Ted had a major aversion to medics and sickbays of all forms. It was believed that due to his time of being altered he was kept in a medical ward often for recovery. His mental breakdown happened when he became delusional and began seeing and becoming his cover personalities between missions. On the last occasion became violent when he thought he was a Romulan gunner. Being on Starbase DS3 thought himself captured and attempted an escape. He injured 6 people before being subdued. He spent 3 years in the psychiatric hospital and no longer has the delusions but the fear of medical facilities and medics still remains but in a much more mild form. When he is around them he becomes very agitated and jumpy.
