Diary of an 80 Gallon Setup

7/26/01
This is the 80 gallon tank we are setting up for a new home for Kirby. At the moment, there is sand and about 2 inches of water in the bottom. One of the filters, a Fluval 203, is set up, and there is one 200 watt heater.

8/9/01
The hood has been ordered, and should arrive tomorrow or Monday. Once the hood is here, the tank will be filled. Live rock should arrive next Wednesday or Thursday, providing the hood gets here on time.
9/8/01
After a month of chaos with the first company I ordered the hood from, I finally gave up and ordered it from somewhere else. The hood and live rock arrived on Friday. Above is a picture of the tank set up with no fish.
9/17/01
The tank is now home to three fish, Kirby and Neptune, of course, and a Sergeant Major damsel named Grunthor.
