Raneov Stefanh e'Annhwi tr'Khnialmnae

History:
Stefanh was born into house s'Annhwi. His mother was the commander of an Imperial Warbird and his father was her first officer. The ship was destroyed during an unlawful incursion into Romulan territory by a Federation starship.

At the age of 15, Stefanh joined up with a group of pirates who were passing by the Eisn system. As the pirates were being funded covertly by the Tal Shiar, they never attacked any Rihannsu interests.

Upon return to ch'Rihan at the age of 20, Stefanh entered the Rihannsu Merchant Marines, where he was assigned as the chief of security on board the transport Ja'telaih. His twin brother, S'Tel, opted for military duty, and ended up serving with distinction within the Tal Shiar, untill he was killed during an assasination attempt on the Praetor a year after joining.

By the age of 25, Stefanh had attained the rank of shipmaster and was given command of the Ja'telaih. He rose to prominence within the Senate, and along with his wife Arrhae, curried much favour within the civilian branches of the Rihannsu government.

Stefanh was also popular amongst the military, as he had attained the rank of erei'Riov (Sub-Commander) in the military reserves and served as first officer on board a military light cruiser.

Because of his popularity with the higher ranking officials, he was granted much leeway and privilages, from the most advanced equipment for his starship to the unofficial duty of smuggling accross the Federation border.

His reign of popularity came to an end in 2291, around the time of the Khitomer Accords between the Federation and Klingon Empire. Raneov tr'Khnialmnae was taken in for questioning for his involvement in an attempt on the Praetor's life. He was to be indicted for treason when he managed to escape with the help of his wife and crew. They stole the Ja'telaih and headed off toward Neutral Zone space, where they remained for the next twenty years elluding the Rihannsu Military and preying upon unsuspecting ships.

The last that was heard from Raneov tr'Khnialmnae and the Ja'telaih was during the attack on the Klingon colony of Narendra III. It was a glorious day when one of the three warbirds reported not only destroying the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-C, but also the traitorous pirate, Raneov tr'Khnialmnae.

Reports have come about lately that the Ja'telaih has been sighted again, 50 years after being reported as destroyed at the Battle of Narendra III. The Tal Shiar believes that these rumors are unfounded. We do believe that these reports do have some truth in them, though, and that they could have spawned from some imposter pirating the spaceways in a ship similar to the Ja'telaih. Rumors have also stated that Raneov tr'Khnialmnae has been seen, and pictures have fallen into Tal Shiar hands. Although a passing resemblence is obvious, it is the contention of the Tal Shiar that the pictures are in fact Stefanh's son, and not the Raneov himself.
