On this day we gather to celebrate life. The Earth has blossomed, the Sun grows stronger, and the animals of the field giive new birth. The promise of a wonderful life is new and we are young once again. The Maypole is erected to remind us of the vitality of all that is. The male and female are joined in their dance and new life explodes from their union. Tonight we celebrate the life upon the Earth, within the Earth and within us!
