Working with Colors

Color has an energy of its own. You can use this energy to help you with your spells, change you mood, or to remind you of something. I use spell candles (small candles) or write my spell on paper that is the appropriate color for that spell. I also like to chose my clothes by the color that contains the quality I want to attract to myself. I hang cords of the appropriate color around my house after I charge them to also draw that quality.

Blue -honor, loyalty, peace, tranquillity, truth, wisdom, protection during sleep, astral projection, harmony in the home, inner peace, and to induce prophetic dreams.

Brown - locating lost objects, to protect familiars and household pets and improve powers of concentration, grounding.

Gold - attracting the power of cosmic influences; as well as rituals to honor solar deities (for me it's the Father aspect of God).&

Green - success, good luck, prosperity, money, good crops ambition; as well as rituals to counteract greed and jealousy.

Orange - inner strength, clarity of the mind, self-esteem, vitality, friendship, stimulate your energy and adaptability healing: arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, coughs, depression and exhaustion.;

Pink - love, friendship, honor and  morality.

Purple - healing, power, psychic manifestations, success, independence, meditation and household protection.

Rainbow - to invoke the energies of all the colors together and for working with the full energy system of the Chakras instead of one specific energy center.

Red - passion, love, health, courage, will power, magnetism, and anger.

Silver - removing negativity, encouraging stability, psychic gifts, clarity of inner vision, and attracting the influence of the Goddess.

Yellow -happiness, confidence, attraction, charm, intellect, divination, study, optimism and persuasion.

White - healing, truth, peace, lunar energy, spiritual strength; as well as consecration rituals, meditation and divination.

Black - Repels negative energy.

Elemental Colors

EAST  - Air; Yellow; (creativity, illuminators); inspirations, creative ideas, knowledge abstracted from chaos, organization from disorganization, mental work, psychic work, development of philosophies, revealing self examination, brain stimulation, awaking of high intellect.

SOUTH  -  Fire; Red; (faith, protectors); relationships, trust, innocence, vulnerability, living in rapport with your environment, strength, courage, self purification, will, drive, self determination, child-self, humor, cleverness, kindling divine flame of Spirit, self trust, faith, knowledge of or from environment.

WEST - Water; Blue: (sacred dreams, initiators); introspection, inner knowledge, shamanic journeys, deep level psychic work, love, emotions, compassion, knowledge from dream states, releasing, renewing, attunement impressions.

NORTH -  Earth; Green; (wisdom, connectors); practicality, patience, applied knowledge, teaching, knowledge from symbols, rituals, ceremony, growth, body work, possessions, self rank.
