My Basic Ritual Prayers and Invocations this is not written in stone, just a guideline. Let the Spirit guide you.

6. Casting and charging the circle - start in the east and work clock-wise

"I charge this circle to protect me from all harm, I charge this circle to draw only that which is good and correct for me, I charge this circle to serve as a sacred place of perfect love and perfect trust, So Mote it Be Amen

7. Invoke the Archangels and Guardians- face each direction as you call it.

Hail to thee Archangel Raphael and the Guardians of the East and Air. I call upon thee to guard my circle and witness my work.  Come.

Hail to thee Archangel Michael and the Guardians of the South and Fire. I call upon thee to guard my circle and witness my work.  Come.

Hail to thee Archangel Gabriel and the Guardians of the West and Water. I call upon thee to guard my circle and witness my work. Come.

Hail to thee Archangel Uriel and the Guardians of the North and Earth. I call upon thee to guard my circle and witness my work. Come.

8. Invocation of The One

I light my God candle while I say this.  "Hail to thee my God and my Father, I call upon thee to guide and protect me while I do my work."  Say the Lord's Prayer in the first person. "My Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give me this day my daily bread and forgive me of my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me. Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory for ever and ever. Amen"

I light my Goddess candle while I say The Goddess Prayer "Oh Gracious Goddess, thou art Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Celebrate be thy name. Help me to live in peace upon thy Earth and grant me safety in thy arms. Guide me along my chosen path and show me your eternal love as I strive to be kind to those who don't know thy ways. Lead me to safety in the cauldron of rebirth. For it is your spirit that guides and protects me forever and ever. So Mote it Be."

I light my Christ candle and say The Jesus Prayer Christ the Lord, Son of the living God, light from light, leads me into the light and reveals your holiness. Light that never fades, dispel the mists about me, awaken my faith from sleep. Guard me from all harm. May your glory fill me with joy. Give me unfailing gentleness at all times, toward everyone I meet. Come to create a new earth for us, where there will be justice and peace. Come, Lord Jesus. Amen

I focus on my Celtic cross and say this Thou who art over me, thou who art a part of me. Thou who art. Grant me a pure heat that I may see thee, a humble heart that I may hear thee , a heart of love that I may serve thee and a heart of faith that I may abide in thee. Amen

11. Hail and Farewell to The One - put out the candle after I say this.

Hail and farewell to thee my God and my Father. I thank thee for thy guidance, power and thy protection. Farewell

Hail and farewell to thee my Goddess and my Mother. I thank thee for thy guidance, power and thy protection. Farewell

Hail and farewell to thee my Lord and my Savior. I thank thee for thy guidance, power and thy protection. Farewell

12. Hail and Farewell to the Archangels and Guardians

Hail and farewell to the Archangel Raphael and the Guardians of the East and Air, I thank thee for thy witness, power and thy protection. Farewell
