My Basic Ritual this is not written in stone, just a guideline. Let the Spirit guide you. This is what I like to do. I hope it helps you develop your own rituals.

1. Light the two seasonal candles and say, "I light this candle to  burn away the worries of the day" next candle say, "I light this candle to give thanks for the blessings of the day. Light the other candles say, "By Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Spirit of the One, guide and protect me as I do my work"

2. Sweep the area -  My sweeping spell. "I sweep this floor to sweep away all that may do me harm. I sweep this floor to sweep away all that's not right for me. As I sweep I cast my spell, so mote it be!

3. Set up the Altar for the Ritual and change clothes

4. Prepare the Altar - Light the altar candle and incense and say, "By Fire, and Air, purify this place and bless my work. Trace a pentacle in the air. Add a pinch of salt to your water with your athame and say, "By Earth and Water, purify this place and bless my work. Trace a pentacle on top of the water. Then sprinkle some water into the air.

5. Relax, Ground and Center, when ready

6. Cast and Charge your Circle (use Staff and point in the directions) - East = Air, South = Fire, West = Water and North = Earth. Above you = Spirit. "By Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and the Spirit of the One, I bound and purify this circle, So Mote It Be!" then hit your staff to the ground

Circle three times around. One charge for each turn. Using your wand.

"I charge this circle to protect me from all harm, I charge this circle to draw only that which is good and correct for me, I charge this circle to serve as a sacred place of perfect love and perfect trust, So Mote it Be. Amen. "

7.Call the Archangels and Guardians - face each direction as you say this - "Hail to thee Archangel Uriel and the Guardians of the East and Air. I call upon thee to guard my circle and witness my work. Come."  Michael, South, Fire ; Raphael, West, Water; Gabriel, North, Earth (details in Ritual Prayers and Invocations)

8. Calling the Deity - Light the Goddess candle and say, "Hail to thee my Goddess and Mother, I call upon thee to guide and protect me while I do my work." Say the Goddess Prayer." (details in Ritual Prayers and Invocations)

Then light the God candle and say, "Hail to thee my God and Father, I call upon thee to guide and protect me while I do my work. "Say the Lord's Prayer in the first person. (details in Ritual Prayers and invocations)

Then I light my Jesus candle and say, " Hail to thee my Lord and my Savior. I call upon thee to guide and protect me while I do my work." Then I say my "Jesus Prayer" (details in Ritual Prayers and Invocations)

Then I focus on my Celtic cross and say the "Thou who art prayer." Thou who art over me, thou who art a part of me. Thou who art. Grant me a pure heat that I may see thee, a humble heart that I may hear thee , a heart of love that I may serve thee and a heart of faith that I may abide in thee. Amen"

10. Drink, Snack, relax (sometimes I take communion here)

11. Hail and Farewell to The One

"Hail and farewell to my God and My Father.  I thank thee for thy guidance, power and thy protection. Farewell" Put out the candle. Hail and farewell to thee my Goddess and my Mother. I thank thee for they guidance, power and thy protection. Farewell" put out the candle "Hail and farewell to thee my Lord and my Savior. I thank thee for thy guidance, power and protection. Farewell." put out candle

12. Hail and Farewell to the Guardians - start with the East

"Hail and farewell to the Archangel Uriel and the Guardians of the East and Air, I thank thee for thy witness, power and thy protection. Amen"  Michael, South, Fire; Raphael, West, Water; Gabriel, North, Earth (details in Ritual Prayers and Invocations)

13. Open the Circle - "The Circle is open, but not unbroken. May what has happened this night stay with me all of my days. So Mote it be. Amen."
