My Rosary Prayers | |||||||||||
I made my own rosary after reading Meetings with Mary :Visions of the Blessed Mother by Janice T Connell. I am not Catholic and know very little about them, but this taught me the Mary has appeared to many of other faiths with the same message. To pray for healing. I bought what I needed to make my rosary at www.rosaryshop.com
The prayers reflect my need to pray for the healing of all people.
Prayer for the Salvation of the World (I say this on the crucifix) Father, hear my prayers for the salvation of the world. Grant Mercy to all souls that turned away from you. Open their hearts and minds with your light. Gather your children from the east and the west, from the north and the south. Have mercy, O God on those who do not know you. Bring them out of darkness into your light. You are our saving God who leads us in our salvation. Protect us from evil. Bless and praise you O Lord, hear our prayers and answer us. You, our Savior, are the hope of all the ends of the Earth and the distant seas. May your way be known upon the Earth; among all nations your salvation. I put the world in your hands; fill us with your love. Grant us peace through Christ, our Lord. Amen |

The Jesus Prayer (I say this on the first large bead) Christ the Lord, Son of the living God, light from light, leads me into the light and reveals your holiness. Light that never fades, dispel the mists about me, awaken my faith from sleep. Guard me from all harm today, may your glory fill me with joy. Give me unfailing gentleness at all times, toward everyone I meet. Come to create a new earth for us, where there will be justice and peace. Come, Lord Jesus. Amen |

Hail Mary (on all the small beads) Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among woman and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death |

Hail, Holy Queen ( I say this on the medal) Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen. |

The Goddess Prayer (I say this on the three large beads surrounding the medal) Oh Gracious Goddess, thou art Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Celebrate be thy name. Help me to live in peace upon thy Earth and grant me safety in thy arms. Guide me along my chosen path and show me your eternal love as I strive to be kind to those who don't know thy ways. Lead me to safety in the cauldron of rebirth. For it is your spirit that guides and protects me forever and ever. So Mote it Be. |

Our Father (all other large beads) My Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give me this day my daily bread and forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me. Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen |
