Join us for a weekend of ice dancing, socializing, and fun at this year’s Minneapolis Ice Dance Weekend.

There will be something for everyone!

Hosted by the Starlight Ice Dance Club (www.oocities.org/starlighticedance)

Skating is the focus of the weekend.  Along with all levels of traditional dances (preliminary through international) and social dances (such as Riverside Rhumba and Golden Skater’s Waltz), there will be fun mixers to keep everyone moving.

The Saturday clinics will improve your edges and skills with Pam O'Connor and Jonathon O'Dougherty, and partnering 3-turns with Ari Lieb.

The Sunday clinic with Andy Wisnewski will clean up your Harris Tango.

A light catered meal and lots of socializing will follow Friday's session. Lunch will be provided on Saturday.  On Sunday there is breakfast and lunch.  The snack tables are available throughout the weekend (it must be important to us).

On Saturday evening join us for a relaxing private dinner cruise on beautiful Lake Minnetonka.  Dinner will be served on board shortly after departure.  After dinner, socialize on the upper deck and watch the sunset then spot satellites, or dance in the dining lounge.  Directions and maps to the dock will be at the registration table.  Carpools are often arranged.  Please pre-register, as the meals must be ordered in advance.

On Saturday and Sunday a certified massage therapist will provide relief from tired muscles.  Bring shorts, sleeveless tops, leotards or other suitable attire for your massage.  It’s not free, but you’ll hardly notice.

Chemical Sensitivity Notice:  Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne, as these don’t help you skate better and can distract your partner.  They also cause serious health problems for some of your fellow skaters.  All of us truly appreciate your restraint.
