Unreal Place
I wonder, is there such a place,
Where the river runs all day,
Where the sky is always blue,
Where in the grass I'd always stay.
With the live green forest all around,
The river quiet, but easily heard,
On the rocks a lizard basks,
and sweet singing birds spread their word.
Sun is golden, bright above,
White fluffly clouds against the sky,
Drifting slowly, as I gaze up,
Close my eyes, let my mind fly.
Soar high above the canopy green,
High above the trouble and pain.
All alone, content and full.
Gaze down upon mad colours, sane?
Open my eyes, falling falling,
Reality, bring me crashing down.
A dull dark room, artificially lit,
Reality, a crone in silken gown.
Is there such a place, I describe.
There is, I visit it every night.
In my dreams, fantasy, wishing..
You have to see it to believe the sight.
