A few hints for you:

Notepad is a great little program to write a diary.

If you choose to use it, here is my trick:

When you first start using notepad, write  .LOG  on the first line; then write your entry,  save it,  call it what you want. The next time you open it, you will see that the date of your entries will be written in. Neat, huh?

Another one: If you insert a picture in an e-mail and would like to make it smaller,  just click on it;  it will become surrounded by a frame;  drag the corners whichever way you want to make it smaller. Easy!!!

Is your browser window opening too small? Just grab the corner until you see a little arrow and drag. Do it top and bottom to make it full window.

and lastly for today:

Ever wonder what programs are running in the background when your computer is on?

Go to start/run...in the window that opens, write   msconfig  and click ok.

In the new window,  click on start up;  there,  all the programs that are checked,  run on your computer,  all the time.

Don't touch for now.

If you want to stop some from running,  find out which are safe to uncheck,  first.
