January 09, 2006-sending pic
We have a new member; welcome Stan...Stan is a friend from Moncton. Stan asks: How do I send a picture in Yahoo? Write your message as usual. Then, click on "attach files"; A new window opens up. Click on "browse' next to file 1. A new window opens. Click on the little black arrow across from "Look in" Click on "My Documents" in that list. Click on the folder where your picture is stored (probably in My Pictures) If it's in another folder in there, click on the folder, then on the picture. What you just did there is called following the path. That is what you have to do every time you are looking for something. Obviously, you have to know where it is, to find it. OK, now your picture is attached. If you want to attach more, do the same thing again by clicking on the other "Browse" buttons. There is a limit of 10 MB. Don't worry about that. It'll tell you if you are over the limit, and they will send what they can. When you are done, at the bottom of all this, click on "Attach Files" and you are ready to send as usual. Let me know if this works for you. Please note that you can come back here later and click on comment at the bottom of this blog entry and let me know how it worked. Watch my next entry, telling you how to save a picture you receive. Ciao for now... 2006-01-10 00:22:37 GMT
