Here are some shortcuts that you will need sometimes:
(Use alt + numbers from your keypad on right hand side of keyboard)
© = alt+0169 = copyright
® = alt+0174 = registered
¼ = alt+172 = one quarter
² = alt+253 = 2nd power
° = alt+0176 = degree
÷ = alt+246 = division
· = alt+249
~ = alt+382
½ = alt+171 = one half
· = alt+250
¢ = alt+155 = cents
™ = alt+0153 = trademark
é = alt+130 = e accented
¾ = alt+0190 = three quarters

You also have all kinds of characters you can use. This is how:
Go to start/all programs/accessories/system tools/character map;choose whatever font you want here, at the top;locate the character you want and click on it.
Click on the select button; click on the copy button. Click close.Go to your document and paste,
as I am doing here....$$$....

To Open IE Full:
Next time you click a link, click the square at the top right-hand corner of your screen. Close the
window with the X in the top right-hand corner of your screen, while holding the shift key. Now,
open IE, visit a page, click a link.
It should open full-size.

If you have double incoming mail in OE, close OE.
Do a file search; This is how:
Go to start, search; enter "pop3uidl.dbx". Let the search happen.When you have found it, right click
on it and click delete.
If you see more than one, delete them all.
A new file will be created next time you open OE and your doubles should be fixed.

When you are watching a video in Windows Media Player, if you want full-screen, click alt+enter;
click alt+enter again to resize.

If you want to check your disk space:
Click windows key+e on your keyboard; or, go to star/windows explorer/click on My Computer;right click the C-drive and you will see
how much disc space you are using.

To play a warning sound when you hit the caps key by mistake, go to start/control panel/accessibility options;
and put a check mark in front of "use toggle keys"; click apply and ok.
