I want to write about all sorts of subjects; I like to share conversations with others.
February 24, 2006--Looking to the Future

I know, I know I said that the last set of links were the end of my links; however, things happen and here we are again talking links.

This first one I found by accident and I think it is a very good link for beginners to computers, and maybe for some who are not beginners. When I find something good, I want to share, so here it is: Computer Hope.

If you have looked at my feeds on my homepage, you know that one of them is from Worldstart. I subscribe to one of their newsletters.
Before I go on to tell about this coincidence, I have to tell you that I have 3 contacts who aren't using Outlook Express yet. Next week, I'm getting into HTML, and if you don't have Outlook Express as a mail program, it will not be very interesting for you unless you plan to write the code for a webpage, which is entirely possible of course. However,I have all kinds of mail boxes, but OE remains my favorite mail program; having said all that here is the coincidence: This morning,as I was reading Steve's tips in Worldstart Newsletter, guess what I saw! Of course, the instructions to set up up an email account in Outlook Express; so, since I am not allowed to reproduce this newsletter, I thought I would do one better and get the link from Microsoft so you can get set up. Good idea, don't you think? Here it is: OE set-up
I looked this article over, and it is well done; I'm sure you can follow it.

And while I'm on links, I want to tell you about a very good program I use all the time when working in HTML. It is called HTML-KIT. It has an editor window, where you can try out your HTML, and it has a preview window where you can check to see what you have created; it also has a section where you can save snippets of HTML or whole templates that you have created or copied.
There are many more editor programs, of course, but this is the one I started using when I took stationery courses and I've always stayed with the same one. So head on out to Chami.com and get with the program...lol
I hope when I start HTML, I won't lose my regular readers; I will be concentrating on HTML, but will still continue to try to keep you informed about other subjects.

My comment button was not set correctly. Sorry about that. It works now.

Have a grand weekend.
Ciao for now.
