A Woman For All Seasons.

A lovely woman all in white
A burning candle in the night;
Through her study and through prayer
A time to learn and a time to prepare;
A vision easy for her to see
The woman that she longs to be.
Our loving Father, He knows the heart,
His love will set each one apart.
And with this call begins the quest,
A search to find her inner best.
For in the springtime she will find
The strength to leave her fears behind.
Darkening clouds like shattered dreams
May dim the light, or so it seems,
But with the trial comes the power
To lift her In the darkest hour.
Seasons changing, yet she knows
Given time a woman grows.
When autumn casts it's shining light
Stands a woman with hope in sight.
It moves her heart to let her know
That by a word lives can grow.
It gave her warmth so she would see
The giver's hand will lift and lead

Within each season women grow,
Within their time each will know;
To love another, to lend a hand
Is all she need to understand.

As part of the Parramatta Stake "Elect Lady" Program, my ward did the "A Woman for all Seasons" Pursuit of Excellance Program.

Are you a woman for all seasons?

Would you like to be a woman for all seasons?

This program is designed to enhance, improve and bring quality to your life by providing a series of goals and challenges for every sister.

To become an active participant in the "Woman for all Seaons" program all you need to do is choose a selection of the challenges from the following listed topics:

Spiritual
Educational
Commitment
Community
Health
Craft & Talent

We hope that the challenges you choose will be things that you may have always wanted to do and areas in your life where you would like to accomplish goals.  You will see that each selection has a line marked "Other..." where you may like to write your own challenge if you have specific goals, appropriate to that area, where you want to make a difference in your life this year.

The "Woman for all Seasons" program is a voluntary program and we had a sister called as the "Program Co-ordinator" who assisted the sisters in reviewing their progress throughout the year.
