Nursing Home Rugs

A great service project that the sisters can do while watching TV at home, (if they have time that is!) is making rugs for a local nursing homes.  Basically all they have to do is use their old wool scraps and knit 81 squares (the pattern is below) and then get someone to crochet it together!  You will be amazed by the sisters and how many of these squares are done.  Best to put about a four month time period on this project.
