Deep in the forest of a Navajo resavation a young girl with long flowing black hair and amber eyes was taking a walk on an ancient path taken by her ancestors years, years ago.  When a handsom young man came from nowhere, he seemed to be wearing the same as the men did long ago.  His chest was big with muscules but not to big, his long black hair and and black eyes told her he was from here.
"Dancing Wind", he whispered in her ear, then suddenly she was transported hundred years back to when her ancestors roam the plains free.  Running through a forset full of trees she suddenly stopped in front of a pack of hungery wolves.  Snarling and growling, they bounced on her blood dripping from her arms and back she ran as fast as she could.  Until she stopped in front of her tribes Warriors, the wolves were close behind her now.  Until the strongest of them pulled an arrow out and loaded his bow, pulling the string back he lauched the arrow straight into the wolves heart.  Falling to the ground behind her, he ran to her and caught her in his arms, blood covered his hands.
"Moon Wolf", she whispered as she passed out, he lifted her from the ground and took her to his hogan.  Laying her on some furs his Grandmother and Sister came to her side with herbs and bandages.  Hours later she awoke and Cheif Flying Arrow walked in, she turned her body over and pain seemed to be ripping at her back and arm.
"Why do you turn over?", he knelt down beside of her, and helped her turn over to the position she was once in.  She started looking down at the ground not daring to look into his face.
"It is not my place to look into an elder's face", he lifted her head up by his finger tips.
"It is okay I am not like the other elders", she looked into his face seeing the winkles under his eyes and his welcoming smile.
"I have to get going now, my father will be upset with me", she tried to stand but fell back down with tears streaming down her face.  He laid her down and covered her up, then walked out of the hut.   Moon Wolf came in after Flying Arrow came out.
"Hey are you okay", he took her hand and stroked her cheek.  Flying Arrow came back in with good news.
"Moon Wolf, I have good news I have just traded fifty of our stallions and mares for her", a huge smile grew on his face.
"I thought my Father promised me to Falling Rain", she tried to sit up but Moon Wolf pushed her back down.
     "Are you disappointed?"
"No not at all", she smiled at Moon Wolf.
"I am not about to let that old man touch you after what he did to his last three wives.  What amazes me is that your Father agreed to let him take you", he looked up at his father.
"Moon Wolf you know what you have to do?" then he collected his things and left.  Moon Wolf hestaited, but took her other hand and touched his forehead with hers.
"I do not want to do this but I have to leave you now,  I promise I'll be back in three Sun sets", he let go of her hands and embraced her.  Gathered up his things and left, but not before telling his Grandmother and Sister not to not Falling Rain in at all.
He stood in the middle of the village, as the hunters surrounded him saying their good byes to their families.   He kept glancing over at the hogan where he left Dancing Wind.  His Flying Arrow held up his hand, and everything went silent.
"At Sun set we will set out", he annouced as he looked around.
     "Why sun set?"
"At sun set the Shaian will be asleep allowing us to pass through their land and to hunt the Bision on the other side", he put his hand down and smiled at Moon Wolf.   Moon Wolf set out before Sun set, on a light brown stallion with the symbol of the moon and the wind.  He crossed the Shaian territory with out detection, the only one's who saw him were the women who giggled at his presence.  He traveled for an hour until he reached the grazzing Bision, glancing around he saw that three heards were in the same spot.  He grined as he prayed to the spirits for thanks and that the Bision stay here until the hunters arrive.  He set up his make-shift shelter and made a fire in which he roasted a rabbit that he killed on the way.
