The Ranma and Akane Shrine!

    As you have probably been able to see, I am a REALLY big Ranma and Akane fan.  It almost makes me sick to see them paired up with anyone else. 

     Anyway, here are some of the reasons that they belong together.

#1  THEY LOVE EACH OTHER!!!!!! Sure Akane may get violent and sure Ranma may have eternal foot-in-mouth disease, but when no one is pushing them together or forcing them apart, they are just so right together.

#2  Ukyo just dosn't cut it.  I must say that I really don't like her.  At all.  I think she is a vengeful, coniving little brat.  She claims that she has an honorable hold on Ranma while disregarding Akane's claim even though Ranma and Akane were engaged first.  Also, Ranma is going to do things to get her mad.  That's just the kind of person he is.  But a person who dedicated ten years of her life to revenge is not exactly the forgiving type.  Akane may get mad easily, but she forgives just as quickly.  Ranma needs that.  Someone to point out his faults and not let his ego get out of control while keeping him in her heart.  Needless to say, in light of this info, a relationship between Ranma and Ukyo wouldn't work.  Another thing, Ukyo went from trying to kill Ranma to 'loving' him just because he said she was cute.  I don't think that is a sign of a stable mind.  Besides, you can think someone is attractive without being in love with them.  Ranma had only been trying to catch Ukyo off guard to defeat her. 

#3 Shampoo doesn't really love Ranma.  It is only Amazon law that makes her even think about him.  If it had been some other guy, even Gosunkugi, she would have been all over him instead.  Personally, I think she has a thing for Mousse, but can't say anything to him until he proves himself strong enough to defeat her.

#4 Kodatchi.  Please don't make me go into that one. : : shudder : :

#5 Cologne.  God Almighty, I don't see how anyone can be sick enough to even think this, but I have seen it in a couple of fics.

#6 Kasumi.  This is another creepy one.  Kasumi is too much of a mother figure to Ranma for him to have any romantic feelings for her, unless he is really messed up in the head in ways I do NOT want to think of.

#7 Nabiki.  I'll tell you this right now, I HATE and DISPISE her.  She is a selfish and manipulating bitch and I think that Ranma hates her.

#8 Ryouga.  I think Akane likes him, but only as a brother.  She sees him as one of the only guys around that isn't trying to hit on her.  Lucky for him that she doesn't know P-chan and his sleeping habits. ;-)

#9 Kuno.  There is no way that either Ranma or Akane would ever love Kuno.

#10 Shinnosuke.  A possibility for Akane, but not likely.  She only went to him because she felt bad that he was dying from an injury that he recieved while saving her.

     That is it for the reasons that Ranma and Akane belong together.  There are more, but I only have so much room to type all of this. ;-)  I hope that this shrine has led some non believers in Ranma and Akane's love to the light.  Until next time.  Dos Vedania!
