Rowdy finish's his AKC Championship July 3, 2005 all points from the Bred By Class under Ms Elaine Rigden with a major win, thank you Ms. Rigden for your comments on what a striking boy he is and the comments about what great shape for his age. And for seeing what I have seen for a very long time.Very impressive win.
Rowdy also finish's his ASCA Championship one month later, August 6, 2005 at Mid-Atlantic ASC. Show 1 Best of Winner's for 2 points under Anitra Cuneo. Show 2 for a 3 point major under Roy Cuneo. Thank you both for such great comments on such a wonderful dog.
Rowdy is a handsome and overall great dog. Like his Mom, Starr he is an easy dog to work with. He earned his U-ACH in 13 trial classes. You can earn it in 10 classes if you were to earn all 200's. We came very close!
UKC breed shows, our first weekend out with some very nice competition, he takes Best in Multi-Breed show! With about 30 different breeds going back in for Best in Show. What a line up! When the judge called out I find the Australian Shepherd Best in Show today, I just stood there. I think some of my fellow exhibitors pushed me from my spot to go meet the judge. Boy did I cry! The judge during the photo shoot jokingly threatens to take the ribbon back, I look up at him and say, better not!! I might have to hurt you!!! He laughed then told me, he is about the nicest Aussie I have had the pleasure to judge. One of the most pleasant judge's I have shown under. Finishing his Championship quickly and his GRCH also.
To date he has 2 Best in Multi-Breed show and 1 Best in Show wins, in a total of 32 show's from start of his show career. 21 BOB's, out of 17 shows offering Group placements he has 12. 9 are Group 1, 1 Group 2, 2 Group 3's.
Top Ten Ranking for 2004 he was shown 18 times from that he won 16 BOB's and Ranked number 5!
AKC Championship limited showing and handled exclusively by me in the Bred By class, he has been Best Opposite, placed Group 3 in Bred By competition, earning an invitation to the 2006 AKC/Eukanuba Nationals!

Rowdy is OFA good eye's cleared yearly . AT STUD TO APPROVED BITCHES. In his first litter he has passed on his work ethic and stable temperament to his kids.
We have started obedience in 2006. He is looking sharp. Rowdy is doing super in obedience, just starting out he has earned AKC/UKC CD in 3 trials each. ASCA CD in 4, and straight into UKC CDX work to Q at both trials. Not bad since I have done very little practice with out of sight stays and being the first time to be left out of sight in that type of set up. What an awesome boy!
