The front of the card is made by collaging large segments of old handwriting onto the tin, letting dry, then collaging the antique watch print on it, let dry and collage clock arms on the front and then coat liberally with collage coating |
the inside top of the card is also collaged with the handwriting paper, and allowed to dry then the vellum postcards and antique pen print are collaged onto the handwriting paper. allowed to dry and then are coated with collage sealer |

The Inside bottom of the card has a thin sheet of wood veneer applied , when dry the vellum antique family photo is glued on and coated with sealer. this takes some time to dry as the wood absorbs a great deal of moisture. when sealed I can add some words on the wood if i like. |
the back of andrews card is covered with paper that emulates old postcards, stamps and bits of notes and even hankies. The idea behind the card is time passes and we should not forget family. All surfaces will get a spray on coat of sealer that is waterproof. The basis of the greeting card is a slim cigar tin. Thank you to my friend Bill for his cigar tins. |
