emerging from the ocean. our boat later docked next to the sub.
|
view
from inside the submarine: we went as deep as 100 feet under water.
marine biologists dropped old boats and even airplanes down to the
ocean to nourish coral growth. the corals were amazingly beautiful.
saw a few sleepy sharks well.

I
love those tropical trees! this one's branches grow vertically down
the trunk. it's so weird!

@
Germaine's Luau: the event lasted 3 or 4 hours. food was below average,
but the variety show was entertaining.
|
tourists
waited at their assigned tables for the luau to begin.

pigeon
and my toes: this pigeon walked around me for the longest time,
so I snapped a shot.
|
Blowhole: an interesting phenomenon - the waves hit the rocks @
such velocity that they shoot out of the holes in the rocks like
a vocano
|
Waimanalo: located on the humid side of the island. the cloud is
so dense that sun rarely shines through, giving plenty of moisture
to the lush trees.
