‘The stars resided in her hair,
the moon within her eyes
and from the lips there came the sound
of sweet, sweet waters rushing by…’
‘Let us be grateful to people who make us happy;
they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.’

‘Have you had a kindness shown?
Pass it on;
‘Twas not given for you alone,
Pass it on;
Let it travel down the years,
Let it wipe another’s tears,
Till in Heaven the deed appears –
Pass it on.
Henry Burton
Kind of my philosophy on life.
We all have to travel this path through life together and we all have to inhabit this wonderful planet called Earth together.
I believe we all have a duty to love and encourage one another as we journey.
(Yes, I’m a rock chick hippie – go figure!)
‘Oh, God, make small
The old star-blanket of the sky,
That I may fold it round me and in comfort lie.’
T.E. Hulme

‘Write while the heat is in you…The writer who postpones the
recording of his thoughts uses an iron which has cooled
to burn a hole with.
He cannot inflame the minds of his audience.’
Henry David Thoreau
Yes, I’m a writer. Have been all my life and will hopefully continue to do so for many years to come.
As well as slash I also write original poems, short stories and yes, at the risk of sounding cliched, I am currently working on a book that I aim to get published one day.
‘The only tools I need for my work are paper,
tobacco, food and a little whiskey.’
William Faulkner
Okay so we all have our little vices and I’m no exception but I am also a committed vegetarian and have been for the past twelve years.
‘Unselfish and noble actions are the most radiant pages in the
biographies of the soul.’
