There is no conclusive evidence of life after death. But there is no evidence of any sort against it. Soon enough you will KNOW, so why fret about it?

Recently I was told of a website which will calculate the day of your own death for you. Go toDeathclock.com and enter in the information requested and it will tell you when you will die. Regardless of the truth or falseness of the prediction, it made my mind twist up a bit because I don't really think we consider our own deaths that seriously. We keep on living, seeing others who die around us, but rarely does death actually brush us directly. I have been to maybe 8 funerals in my life and I remember the whole solumn affair with everyone dressed formally and whatnot (I personally want to leave just enough money up for my friends and family to throw a loud, obnoxious, wild party with my body in attendance). A Led Zeppelin song has the words in it: "All that lives is born to die." how true and eloquant this is. How much have you thought about death? I'm not talking about morbid "goth" people who like to dwell upon it. I'm talking about your body ceasing its functions, growing cold, and being eaten up by bacteria and worms (yes, even in death your body will serve a function, as food for other creatures). Really think about the fact that every second you are alive is one second you are closer to death. Depressing? Not really. Motivating? Possibly. What you do with the time you have is entirely your decision. If you want to burn it all up or spend it miserly it is up to you. Imagine you only have a few days to live, or a few hours. What would you do? If you think about that long enough, you can create a sort of "template" in which you make sure to live your live every day to the fullest. Death predictions aside, our only true assurance is this very moment All previous moments have been lived, all future moments are yet to be. Life is one big moment and it is over far too quickly.
