Beatlefan magazine was kind enough
to review my silly little web page in the July/August issue of Beatlefan
magazine (Issue #137 Vol. 23, No. 5) for the Hard Day's Net article.
Please check out Beatlefan magazine's web page at http://www.beatlefan.com and
if you haven't already, please subscribe to this wonderful Beatles publication!
I have since 1994, and I read it from cover to cover.
Hard Day's Net

Are you facinated with references to The Beatles in films, books and television?
Look no further than Starshyne's Fab Beatles References (www.oocities.org/Starshyne9)
to help you track the Beatles' influence on pop culture. The "Non Beatles
Song References" section notes lyrics mentioning the group by everyone from
Tori Amos to Frank Zappa. The "Beatles Movie References" section chronicles
movies that have referenced the group in some fashion (example: Kate
Hudson's character in "Almost Famous" is named "Penny Lane"). Did "Gilligan's
Island" or "The Andy Griffith Show" ever reference the group? Consult
the "TV references" section to find TV programs, past and present, that have
mentioned the Beatles. The "Print References" section lists plays,
books and commericals; this page, however, is not as extensive as the others.
Finally, the "Album covers" page allows you to click on a Beatles album
cover to view other covers that have parodied or paid homage ot that album;
for example, clicking on "Abbey Road" results in album covers by acts ranging
form the Red Hot Chili Peppers to "Sesame Street" The Webmaster strongly
encourages visitors to contribute any other Beatles pop culture sightings.
Be sure to visit this site, it is great fun.
Many thanks to Kit O'Tool and Beatlefan magazine as well as those of you
who read this article and visited this page as a result! I am STILL
shocked! On one page is a picture of Ringo, and on the next, my webpage
is mentioned! It is too fab to be true. Whoo hoo!
