I bought both of these fence sections on a clearance table at Garden Ridge for $1 each. After sanding and painting them I added flowers and vines. Since this one is for grandma I envisioned a little lady with her basket of cut flowers and oversized hat, tending to her garden. The sign reads "If Grandmas were flowers, I'd pick you."
Using the same vines and similar flowers, this scene has a watering can, garden tools, and a pot of seedlings. The garden tools are made from lollipop sticks and card stock painted gold. The soil in the mini pot is tea and the early sprouts are drops of green paint. I added magnets and a strand of jute to both fences for easy hanging.
