CHERRY BLOSSOM (Kayura's Bio)

Lady Kayura is the beautiful, elegant fighter whom the Ronin Warriors never could seem to defeat. She was very ruthless when under Talpa's control, but at the same time very captivating. Amidst all these strong male fighters, Kayura emerges to take top stance. She is as strong as she is beautiful. She is very confident in herself and her abilities; as she has the right to be. She is the most powerful out of the series and the Ronins were viciously battered by her repeatedly. No attack seems to harm her; they only seem to keep her subdued. She seems untouchable, yet delicate at the same time; a living paradox that's been manipulated and used.
Lady Kayura's weapons are twin jitte called the "Starlight Swords", a weapon closely related to the sai except it has a slender two-edged sword blade.* Her main attack "Star Swords Scream" causes funnels of water to surround her and then five stars shine in the sky and shoot down devastatingly beautiful lighting. She is also capable of joining the twin jitte together and while spinning them rapidly, small energy beams are sprayed out. She is extremely fast, agile, and graceful; she looks as though she's dancing when she fights.
Lady Kayura was born in Nara on December 12, 1559. This makes her 428 years old although she's physically described as being twelve. She was born into the Ancient's clan where she quickly caught on to their ways. When Kayura was eight years old, Talpa raided their village, killed her parents, and kidnapped Kayura. Through a spell placed on an amulet, the Demon Lord Talpa was able to control Kayura and completely erase her memories of her past. Kayura was no where to be found during the first half of the series, however, after Talpa lost his "first battle" against the Ronins and Anubis took on the role of the Ancient, Kayura stepped into Anubis's vacant position in the dynasty. She first made her appearance after the Warlords had captured Cye, Sage, and Kento. She was sent to retrieve the armors of Rowen and Ryo. Kayura proceeded to pursue both Ryo and Rowen and was about to finish them off but she was stopped by the ancient's staff. Baffled by the notion that the Ancient was alive (since he sacrificed himself to form a bridge to Talpa's castle in the first battle) she began to search for him so she may kill him. She found who she thought was the Ancient at a beautiful temple in the middle of a forest. Kayura confronted this figure and said that she had thought he had died but since she was mistaken she would kill him to rid her master Talpa of him once and for all. The two fought a great battle but Kayura realized that this was not the old monk she was expecting. The confrontation ended in a draw and Kayura went back to report to Talpa. She later returned to capture the two remaining Ronins who had ventured into the city looking for a way into the Nether Realm to free their comrades. Her attempt was once again thwarted by the new Ancient, Anubis. Kayura could not stand to be near the light that the Ancient's staff emitted because she had been corrupted by so much dark power. However, Anubis was able to use the staff at this time not only to stop Kayura but to send Ryo and Rowen into the Nether Realm.
Once back in Talpa's domain, Kayura begins to question Talpa, but she quickly rids herself of these feelings. Ashamed of these new emotions, Lady Kayura becomes twice as ruthless to prove to herself that she is loyal to Talpa. She continually makes mush out of Ryo and Rowen, and she is just as savage with the other three Warlords. She confronts Ryo, Rowen, and the three Warlords while sitting elegantly poised on a bridge and uses a special powder to cast a spell on the two Ronins. However, she also entangles the Warlords in the powder too. In the midst of all of this, the Warlord's armors began to react and allowed Ryo to form the Armor of Inferno, which is what Talpa wanted. Soon afterwards Anubis arrived with Mia, Yuli, and the Jewel of Life, much to the relief of Ryo and Rowen. Anubis and Kayura fought once again, and Anubis tried to kill her by bashing her head with the staff, but the staff would not allow it. Talpa quickly teleported Kayura out of there and took her to where Ryo had run off to so he could free his friends. When Kayura arrived, The Jewel of Life was working its magic but it had no effect on her. The Ronins were finally able to reunite and they commenced to fight Kayura. Ryo called on the Armor of Inferno to attack her and her amulet was cut off. Without the amulet, Talpa's spell could not work on Kayura and she just sat there, confused on what was going on. Anubis would not allow Ryo to kill her and Talpa teleported Kayura back to him. Talpa and Lord Badamon tried to regain control over Kayura again, but it was too late. She had completely regained her memory and brought on strong resistance against them. Badamon came up with a way to re-control her, however, and possessed Kayura's body; this process looked very painful for the young woman. At the time this happened, Anubis finally realized who Kayura was and he vowed that he would set her free. An intense battle began, and the Ronins along with the Warlords were entombed in shrines. Anubis had called on his armor and was fighting Kayura/Badamon, trying to break Badamon's control over her. Anubis came up with a clever plan and when Kayura attacked, he absorbed all her power and then transferred his Armor of Cruelty over to her. This transfer drove the evil Badamon out of Kayura and she was set free. Anubis, however, paid for this with his life and both the Ancient's staff as well as the armor were passed on to her. Kayura did not want Anubis's sacrifice to be in vain, she vowed to stop Talpa. The Ronin Warriors and the Dark Warlords (now good) broke free from the shrines and brought down Talpa. In the end, Kayura went back to the Nether Realm with the Warlords to make sure the dynasty was completely destroyed and to seal it off so their evil may never return.
