Mia hates secrets, so the girls sit around the roses and share any "secrets" they may have. Especially secret crushes.
Lady Kayura:
Kayura does not have any loves. (Unless there's one in an OVA that I have not seen.) There is a lot of fan-fic out there concerning Kayura and Rowen but they were never actually together in the series. They did have a flirtatious way of fighting, though. So, until Kayura finds her true love, she'll listen enviously to Mia while she talks on about her ventures with Sage.
Mia:
There are a lot of really good fan-fics out there that pair Mia with various different characters from Ronin Warriors, but I want to start off by saying that in the actual series, Mia and Anubis are NOT together. This is my biggest pet peeve and I don't know why; it's one of those things that kind of gets under your skin and just boils. If they were together-I would have absolutely no problem with it. But they never were together and the creators never meant for them to be together-end of story. I've honestly tried to see it, and when I mention this notion to other avid Ronin Warrior friends, they laugh me out of the room. Mia is like a little sister to Anubis, they have a very innocent relationship. She and Yuli are the first friends he's probably ever had. As for the whole Jewel of Life deal, what did Mia do with it? She gave it to Yuli. It obviously had no meaning for her because it was never meant to have any meaning. Anubis gave Mia the Jewel of Life because he knew that ONLY her and Yuli could use it. He probably thought it was a better idea for a responsible young adult to hold onto an important object such as the Jewel of Life instead of a young kid. A lot of other people also mention that since Mia allowed for Anubis to stay with her and Yuli (which was only for about a day and a half) that something had to have happened between them. Come on people, this is anime. If something did happen, we all would have known; anime is not very secretive about love attractions. And since she's also housing five other guys this must mean that she's with all of them, right? And let's see--Mia cried when White Blaze "died" but didn't shed a tear for Anubis...I really do not see it. Now that that's over **sorry, I had to get it out of my system** it's very clear, at least to me, whom the creators intended Mia to be with. There may have been a thing between Ryo and Mia (which was more pronounced in the Japanese series but you can still see it in the American series) but that fizzled out. But for Mia it's definitely Sage. The way she acts around Sage is different from how she acts around the other guys. They become "sweet" with each other in one of the OVAs and in a book/magazine they were pictured walking down a street arm-in-arm. (This is the picture featured at the top of the page. I got this scan from a dear friend of mine.) Studying is the science field, I have to have hard proof for everything. I really have tried to look for the evidence for Mia and Anubis, but it's just not there. All the evidence points to Sage and I feel he is best fit for Mia's love. He's wise and has a caring heart, just like Mia.
