STARFLEET ENGINEERING

Starfleet Engineering is the department in charge of the development, construction and repair/upgrades of all Starfleet ships, starbases and outposts. Over the last century or so, a great deal of progress has been made in the field of science thanks to the information obtained by the Cytherians. This of course has translated into advancements in Engineering which as enabled many of the older types of ships to be brought back into active service following upgrades that had been too complicated to perform beforehand.
