Brian grew up in the streets on his home planet of Grille VII, not getting much of education but pretty good at fixing things like Replicators and other machines, which kept him alive getting paid so he can eat, and get shelter for the Night, but usually not finding any work he stayed nights in a box on the side of a street. When he was twenty years old he was badly beaten by a street gang in a back alley, for going on their turf. While in recovery in a nearby hospital a federation ship builder took an interest in the young man and decided to bring him at the shipyards and teach him the trade. Brian worked there and did a good job. For 12 years he worked there and became one of the mans head people, but in 2376 he decided to leave the shipyards and join the academy, with the guys blessing.

While in the academy he excelled at every engineering course he was in but it was a different story in all the other courses he was taking. So he began getting tutoring by a local girl who had plenty of time to teach him the other courses. He fell in love with her, within months of starting the tutoring with her and thought she felt the same way with him. But it became clear when he graduated that she did not. She gave him a shocking bit of news that really upset him. The kid he thought was his for almost a year was in fact that of his so called friend, it would seem that instead of falling for him, she fell in love with Brent and they were having an affair two weeks after they met. After graduation he decided to take the first posting available to him. Which was the Resolution.

Personality Profile:

Ever since the heartbreak he felt at his graduation he kept to himself, not wanting to talk to anyone if he doesn’t need to.  He sticks to himself all the time, he goes out to ten forward, to the Holodeck and to engineering he doesn’t leave his quarters.
