Starship Creator
This game sucks. Advertised to "let you create and build your own starships". I think not. Rather, you modify existing classes of starship, and send them on missions which you have little or no control of whatsoever.
Although the design level is fun initially, it soon wears thin, when you simply add different components, such a Type 5 warp drives, then Type 7. Who cares?
I bought this game, so that I could build a starship from scratch, and I expected to be able to design smaller aspects like where to put the bridge, and how to arrange the consoles etc.
I even have the "Deluxe" version which is very poor. I pity the poor sods who bought the original version.
When you dispatch you ship on missions, you have to wait around 7 minutes watching a tiny little speck on the screen move to another location (and this is when the game is speeded up, NOT realtime!)
If you want to build starships, I'd either buy a plastic model, or buy the Technical Reference Manual.
I also expected to "Build your dream crew", but you can't mix the TOS era with the TNG one! So how can you possibly have your dream crew?
