A Final Unity
This is my favourite Star Trek game of all time.
The first Next Generation computer game, set onboard the Enterprise-D. This is an excellent game, which splendidly blend together ship combat and away missions.
The ship combat involves fighting Romulan Warbirds, and a new alien race called the Chodac.
The away missions allow you to select your away team, where for example you choose Dr. Crusher on a medical emergency etc. The interaction on away missions between the crew and the aliens are realistic.
You are of course equipped with the handy tricorder and phaser.
The movie cutscenes are quite primitive since this game was released in 1993, but no less enjoyable. This game is fantastic to play, and is one of my all time favourite games.
This game is simply put "Star Trek at its finest" If you want a game that captures the ethos of TNG, then this is it!
For me, one brilliant bit was the introductory teaser, and then straight into everybody's favourite theme tune - and the full season 3 credits' video introduction, with Jerry Goldsmith's music - fantastic!
